Usage of Office Chair Accessories
The main uses of office chair accessories are as follows:

Casters are key components for the mobility of office chairs, directly affecting their flexibility and stability. High-quality casters are quiet, wear-resistant, and have strong load-bearing capacity. Some high-end products are also equipped with locking functions for easy positioning. Depending on the floor material, casters are divided into ordinary casters and PU wheels. The latter, due to their soft material properties, are more suitable for wooden floors or computer rooms, preventing scratches on the floor.
The chair base's iron frame thickness determines the chair's lifespan. Surface treatment methods include polishing, painting, baking varnish, and electroplating, with electroplating offering the best rust resistance. A five-claw chair base helps maintain balance by distributing pressure, equivalent to the four-legged support structure of ordinary chairs, ensuring smooth movement on flat surfaces.
The gas lift (height adjustment rod) is the core component for adjusting the chair's height and rotation. It achieves support, cushioning, and braking functions through gas and liquid media, meeting users' dynamic adjustment needs for sitting height and angle.
The seat plate serves as the connection hub between the chair seat and the gas lift, bearing the structural role of supporting the entire chair and ensuring stability when all components work together.
The chair seat directly bears human pressure and is usually made of durable materials such as sponge or high-density foam. Some advanced models are equipped with seat depth adjustment functions to accommodate the body shapes of users of different heights, enhancing long-term comfort.
Armrests enhance sitting stability by providing arm support. High-quality models support height and angle adjustments. Thicker materials are not only durable but also improve safety and comfort through body coordination.
The chair back-seat connection (corner brace) uses steel pipes or steel plates to achieve a separate connection between the chair seat and the chair back. The steel plate thickness is usually 6mm or 8mm. When the width is less than 6cm, an 8mm thickness is required to ensure structural strength.
The chair back provides back support through diverse designs such as mesh or panel styles. Some high-end models support tilt adjustment. The structure combining a steel frame or plastic frame with mesh fabric offers both support and breathability.
The lumbar pillow alleviates fatigue from prolonged sitting through ergonomic design and is an important indicator of chair comfort.
The headrest supports adjustable rotation angles and height positions. Users can freely adjust the front-back rotation and up-down lifting according to their needs, providing neck support for long-hour office workers, with a design that balances practicality and aesthetics.
