Office Chair Accessories Assembly
Admin October 12, 2026
The assembly of office chair accessories generally follows the steps of bottom-up installation, connecting the backrest and seat, inserting the gas lift, and installing the armrests and headrest. There may be differences among different chair models, as detailed below:

- Bottom-up Installation
- Install Casters and Chair Base: First, install the casters one by one onto the chair base, ensuring that each caster is firmly attached. After installing the chair base, place the gas lift vertically into the center of the chair base. For example, for the E06 hollow cushion linked armrest office chair, the universal wheels need to be installed onto the five-star base first to provide a stable foundation for subsequent assembly.
- Secure the Seat Plate and Seat: Use screws to fix the seat plate onto the seat. Different chairs may require different screw specifications. For the E06 hollow cushion linked armrest office chair, four thin and short screws are needed to attach the tray (seat plate) to the cushion. Make sure the screws are tightened to ensure a stable connection between the seat plate and the seat.
- Connect the Backrest and Seat: After the seat is installed, connect the backrest and the seat. Usually, angle brackets and screws can be used for fixation. For some chairs, when installing the steel plate and backrest, six short and thick screws are required, and they should be tightened properly before attaching the backrest to the steel plate to ensure the firmness and stability of the connection between the backrest and the seat.
- Insert the Gas Lift: Vertically insert the base with the installed backrest and seat onto the gas lift, align the top of the gas lift with the hole on the tray, and ensure an accurate connection between the gas lift, the base, and the tray. This enables functions such as height adjustment of the office chair.
- Install Armrests and Headrest: Finally, install the armrests and headrest. When installing the armrests, use the appropriate screws according to the chair's design. For the E06 hollow cushion linked armrest office chair, four thin and long screws are used to install the armrests, and after installation, cover the four armrest caps. Two small screws are used to install the backrest decorative cover. Attach the clothes hanger to the neck pillow buckle, and then install it onto the backrest with two thin and long screws and tighten them before installing the neck pillow. Some chairs may have different assembly sequences. For example, some first install the five wheels, insert the gas lift, attach the base plate under the seat plate, and use four long screws to secure the base. Then, connect the backrest and seat with angle brackets and screws. Other chairs may first install the base plate and then the armrests, with corresponding operations on each side.
