Office Chair 902 Installation

Admin October 13, 2026

The installation steps for Office Chair 902 are as follows:

Step 1: Prepare and Sort the Screws
Before installation, clarify the specifications and uses of the screws. The screws for Office Chair 902 are divided into two categories: Four thick screws are used to install the armrests on both sides of the seat cushion. Confirm their length and thread compatibility in advance. The remaining slender screws, paired with nuts, are used for the crossbeam installation. Sorting and storing them separately can avoid confusion and improve installation efficiency.

Step 2: Lay the Chair on Its Side and Locate the Holes
Lay the entire chair on its side with the side facing up. Observe the sticker labels on the black fabric on the side and record the label information in advance (such as model number and hole number). If the labels are damaged or blurred, take photos immediately and contact customer service for confirmation to avoid rework due to incorrect hole positions.

Step 3: Install the Crossbeam Structure
The crossbeam is the core load-bearing component of the chair. Use slender screws to pass through the corresponding holes in the crossbeam and the chair body. Install two screws on each side and secure them with nuts. Ensure that the screws fully penetrate the holes during installation, and tighten the nuts to an appropriate degree (avoid over-tightening to prevent thread slippage). All four screws must be installed properly to ensure the stability of the crossbeam.

Step 4: Install the Armrest Covers and Distinguish Directions
After straightening the chair, assemble the armrest covers. The armrest covers are divided into left and right: the long cover is for the right side, and the short cover is for the left side. They must be installed strictly according to this correspondence; otherwise, the height of the armrests will be asymmetrical. Align the cover openings with the armrest brackets on the chair body and press gently until they fit snugly.

Step 5: Preliminary Fixation of the Armrest Frames
Take out the armrest frames, ensure that the armrests face forward, and align them with the two holes on the side of the seat cushion. Use thick long screws to pass through the holes and connect to the armrest frames. Do not tighten the screws at this time to leave room for adjustment. Install the other armrest in the same way, maintaining bilateral symmetry.

Step 6: Final Adjustment and Tightening
After the preliminary installation of the armrest frames, adjust both armrests to a horizontal position and confirm that there is no tilt or looseness. Then, sequentially tighten all the thick screws (for the armrest frames) and the slender screws (for the crossbeam). Use tools to tighten them one by one to ensure that all connection points are secure. Finally, install the foot covers (anti-slip pads) to complete the overall assembly.

Precautions:

  1. Regularly check the tightness of the screws during the installation process to avoid chair wobbling due to looseness.
  2. If you encounter misaligned holes or screws that cannot be inserted, do not force them. Instead, recheck the label information or contact after-sales service.
  3. After installation, it is recommended to test the stability of the chair in a sitting position to ensure there are no abnormal noises or structural deformations.
