Office Chair 1
Office chairs are chairs equipped for the convenience of work in daily work and social activities, with the English name 'office chair'. There are various types, and there are also some safety issues.

I. Types and Characteristics of Office Chairs
Office chairs come in multiple types, each with distinct characteristics. For example, the Leisure Office Chair features easy installation and effortless adjustment. During use, no matter which position the backrest is tilted to, it can closely fit the waist, providing good lumbar support for the user, helping to relieve waist fatigue caused by long hours of work and enhancing office comfort. There is also the 1012A Office Chair, whose installation is relatively more complex. It requires preparing corresponding materials and following certain steps for installation, including installing base casters, seat armrests, and other components. This type of office chair may have unique features in terms of functionality or design to meet the diverse needs of different users for office chairs.
II. Safety Issues of Office Chairs
While office chairs bring convenience to people, they also have some safety issues. On March 2, 2023, the United States and Canada implemented a recall of office chairs made in China due to the possibility of backrest breakage. This could cause the user to lose support and fall during normal use, posing a threat to the user's personal safety. On September 30, 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation found during national supervision and random inspections of office chairs that 15 batches of products were unqualified, with stability issues being particularly prominent. Office chairs with poor stability are prone to tipping over during use, which also poses safety hazards to users. On January 16, 2025, the United States implemented a recall of the WorkPro Momentum office chairs made in China because the bolts might fail. Bolt failure could lead to the loosening or separation of some structures of the office chair, putting the user at risk of falling. These safety issues remind consumers to pay attention to product quality and safety when purchasing office chairs and to choose products with quality assurance from formal channels.
