Nissan AI Office Chair

Admin October 19, 2026

The Nissan AI Office Chair is a cross-border smart seating product launched by Dongfeng Nissan based on the N7 car seat technology, with core functions covering adaptive support, intelligent control, and ergonomic design, achieving a complete functional transition from car seats to office scenarios.

1. Shared Technology and Adaptive Support
This chair directly inherits the N7 car seat's 19 smart airbags, 49 flexible sensors, and 14-way electric adjustment system, achieving personalized adaptation for 'thousands of people, thousands of seats' through algorithms. The sensors can scan the user's body shape, posture, and weight distribution in real-time, driving the airbags to dynamically adjust the support strength of the backrest, seat cushion, side wings, and leg rests. For example, when the user leans back, the system automatically enhances lumbar support; during prolonged sitting, the side wing airbags slightly contract to promote blood circulation, avoiding local compression issues caused by fixed structures in traditional seats.

2. Material and Structural Optimization
The chair uses the same skin-friendly cream fabric as the N7, offering a soft touch and excellent breathability. The backrest features a 10-layer composite structure, while the seat cushion has 11 layers, incorporating multi-density foam layers and anti-fatigue support materials. This layered design combines materials of different densities to ensure initial softness and long-term stability. For example, the top layer of the seat cushion uses low-density foam to relieve pressure, while the bottom layer uses high-density material to prevent sagging, accommodating over 8 hours of continuous office use.

3. Intelligent Control and Scenario-Based Functions
Users can control massage, ventilation, and heating functions through a mobile app and preset three modes: office, meditation, and nap. The massage function supports 12-point SPA-level precise control, corresponding to 12 independent airbags that can simulate kneading and tapping techniques; the ventilation system achieves uniform heat dissipation through hidden air ducts in the backrest and seat cushion; the heating function covers the lumbar and hip areas, quickly warming up to 40ยฐC in winter. Additionally, the system records user preference data to generate aไธ“ๅฑž (customized) seat curve that automatically activates upon next use.

4. Ergonomics and Interactive Design
The chair continues the ergonomic logic of car seats, with adjustable armrest height and a headrest providing wrap-around support. The materials combine smooth leather with Alcantara-like fabric, balancing durability and touch. The side control panel is consistent with car seats, using a combination of physical buttons and touch controls to avoid misoperations. During development, the traditional 'standard dummy' testing model was broken through by incorporating real user body data, transforming comfort from a subjective feeling into quantifiable parameter adjustments, such as optimizing support point positions through pressure distribution maps.
