Nanxiong Office Chair Lifting

Admin October 10, 2026

There are usually several lifting methods for office chairs in Nanxiong, and the specific operation should be selected according to the type of chair:

1. Pneumatic rod adjustment This is currently the most common lifting method, suitable for most modern office chairs. The bottom of the chair is usually equipped with a metal pneumatic rod, and a regulating handle is set on its side. Lifting operation: While sitting on the chair, pull up the handle, and the chair will rise slowly due to the pneumatic pressure; Lowering operation: Maintain the sitting posture and press down the handle, and the chair will descend under the action of gravity. During operation, avoid pressing quickly to prevent the pneumatic rod from being damaged by the impact.

2. Screw adjustment Some old-fashioned or simple office chairs adopt a screw-type structure, and a metal device similar to a screw can usually be seen in the center of the bottom of the chair. Lifting operation: Use a tool (such as a wrench) to rotate the screw clockwise, and the chair will rise about 1-2 cm for each rotation; Lowering operation: Rotate the screw counterclockwise. This method has a relatively slow adjustment speed, but its structure is simple and durable, suitable for scenarios with low requirements for the lifting frequency.

3. Conventional chassis lifting method This is suitable for office chairs with traditional chassis designs. Lifting operation: The user needs to stand up first, gently step on or pull up the regulating lever at the bottom of the chair with their foot or hand, and the chair will rise due to the action of the spring; Lowering operation: After sitting down, keep the back close to the backrest, pull up the regulating lever again, and the chair will descend slowly under the action of the human body's gravity. During operation, ensure that the regulating lever is fully reset to avoid accidental lifting or lowering caused by looseness.

4. Wire-controlled chassis lifting method The wire-controlled chassis controls the lifting through a wire or a button, and the operation is more convenient. Lifting operation: When the user is standing, pull up the control wire on the side of the chair or press the button, and the chair can rise quickly; Lowering operation: After sitting down, pull up the control wire and keep holding it, and the chair will descend uniformly under the action of gravity. This method does not require frequent standing up and is suitable for users who need to frequently adjust the height.

5. Special design adjustment Some high-end or customized office chairs adopt unique lifting mechanisms, for example:

  • Button on the armrest: Control the lifting by pressing the button on the side of the armrest;
  • Red button inside the lever: There is a red safety button inside the regulating lever, which needs to be pressed before operation;
  • Pin lifting: Fix the height by pulling out or inserting a metal pin. For such designs, refer to the user manual of the specific model to avoid damage caused by misoperation.

Precautions:

  • Check whether all parts of the chair are intact before adjustment to avoid looseness or damage;
  • Keep your body balanced during the lifting and lowering process to prevent falling due to the movement of the chair;
  • If the chair has not been used for a long time, you can slightly move the pneumatic rod or the screw device before adjustment to prevent jamming.
