Nan Yu Mu Office Chair

"Nan Yu Mu" may be a misspelling of "Nan Yu Mu". A typical example of a Nan Yu Mu office chair is the Nan Yu Mu round-back chair. The following is an introduction from three aspects: wood characteristics, design features, and price:

Wood Characteristics

Nan Yu Mu, also known as Sassafras, belongs to the Lauraceae family and Sassafras genus, mainly produced in the areas south of the Yangtze River in China. This type of wood has a unique texture. Its characteristic landscape pattern shines with a warm luster under the sunlight, and you can feel the subtle wood grain texture when touching it with your hands. The Nan Yu Mu round-back chair often adopts a white-embryo design, which retains the original texture of the wood. Users can color or age the chair according to their own preferences to meet different decoration styles and personal aesthetic needs.

Design Features

• Ergonomic Design: The Nan Yu Mu round-back chair incorporates ergonomic principles in its design. Its curved backrest fits well with the curve of the human spine. When the user leans back, the head can naturally rest on the chair's rim, providing a comfortable and relaxed feeling. The slightly forward-tilting seat design is also very clever. It forces the user to maintain an upright sitting posture, helping to improve sitting habits and reduce physical fatigue and injuries caused by prolonged poor sitting postures.
• Practical Detail Design: In addition to ergonomic design, the Nan Yu Mu round-back chair also has many practical details. For example, it is equipped with a thickened seat cushion to provide a more comfortable sitting experience. The anti-slip foot pads increase the friction between the chair and the ground, preventing the chair from sliding during use and improving safety. The hidden screw design makes the overall appearance of the chair neater and more aesthetically pleasing, without the visual impact of exposed screws. However, the Nan Yu Mu round-back chair is relatively heavy, weighing about 12 kg, which can be a bit strenuous for women to move alone.

Price Situation

The prices of Nan Yu Mu office chairs vary depending on the style. For example, the price of a Chinese-style antique solid wood armchair set, including a round-back chair, an official's cap chair, and a home antique Nan Yu Mu armchair for tea, is 1009.85 yuan. Consumers can choose the appropriate style according to their budget and needs.
