Multi-Person Office Chair Assembly

Admin October 09, 2026

The assembly methods for multi-person office chairs vary depending on the model. Here are the common assembly steps:

Assembly Steps for 311 Row Chair (Three-Seater)

  1. Install the Chair Legs First, distinguish the front and back directions of the crossbeam and chair legs: the right angle on the crossbeam's seat frame is the back, and the bevel is the front; the chair legs are shorter in the front and longer in the back. Insert the chair legs into the slots on both sides of the crossbeam, keep the crossbeam balanced, and then use a large hex key to screw in the screws (including washers) to secure the chair legs. Repeat the operation on the other side.
  2. Install the Chair Back Align the chair back with the holes on the small iron pieces on the outer side of the crossbeam. First, manually screw in the short hex screws for preliminary fixation, and then use a tool to fully tighten them to ensure a firm connection between the chair back and the crossbeam.
  3. Install the Seat Cushion Insert the slots at the bottom of the seat cushion into the crossbeam's seat frame. Screw in the hex screws from the middle of the bottom of the seat cushion: use medium hex screws for the front side and long hex screws for the back side. Repeat this step for the remaining two seats.
  4. Check and Confirm After installation, check each screw to ensure it is tightened to avoid safety hazards caused by looseness.

Common Assembly Steps for Office Chairs

  1. Assemble from the Bottom Up First, install the casters: screw each caster into the holes on the chair legs one by one. After ensuring they are firmly installed, insert the gas lift vertically into the center of the chair legs as the core component for the chair's height adjustment.
  2. Fix the Base and Seat Align the base (which contains components for controlling height adjustment and rotation) with the holes at the bottom of the seat and fix it with screws to ensure a tight connection between the base and the seat.
  3. Connect the Chair Back and Seat Connect the chair back and seat with screws or clips. For some models, use a tool to tighten the screws to ensure that the chair back can adjust its angle synchronously with the seat.
  4. Insert the Base Assembly Vertically insert the assembled seat part into the top of the gas lift to ensure that the base is fully in contact with the gas lift and avoid tilting.
  5. Install the Armrests and Headrest According to the model design, fix the armrests to both sides of the seat with screws, and insert the headrest into the reserved holes at the top of the chair back or fix it with screws to complete the final assembly.

Precautions: Before assembly, carefully read the instruction manual to distinguish the screw specifications (such as short hex, medium hex, and long hex) and the directions of the accessories. During the installation process, keep the components balanced and avoid excessive force that may cause damage. After completion, test whether the chair's height adjustment and rotation functions are normal.
