MSDA Office Chair Installation

Admin October 10, 2026

The installation of MSDA office chairs generally follows the bottom-up approach used for conventional office chairs, although there may be differences depending on the model. For the MSD Mingsenda A103 chair, refer to its specific installation instructions for details. Here are the steps for installing a conventional office chair:

Step 1: Install the Casters and Gas Lift First, attach the casters to the chair base, ensuring that each caster is securely snapped into its corresponding hole on the base. After installation, check that the casters can rotate freely. Next, place the gas lift vertically into the center of the chair base. The gas lift is a crucial component for adjusting the height of the office chair, so ensure it is installed vertically and securely to prevent wobbling or tilting during use.

Step 2: Secure the Base Plate to the Seat Use screws to fasten the base plate to the seat. During installation, use an appropriate screwdriver and follow the pre-designed screw hole positions on the base plate and seat to tighten the screws one by one. Be careful not to overtighten or undertighten the screws. Overtightening may damage the base plate or seat, while undertightening may result in an insecure connection between the base plate and seat, affecting safety during use.

Step 3: Connect the Backrest to the Seat and Install the Base After the seat is installed, connect the backrest to the seat. The connection method may vary depending on the model of the office chair; some are fixed with screws, while others are connected with clips. Follow the instructions in the product manual for operation. Next, insert the base vertically into the gas lift, ensuring it is installed vertically so that the base fits tightly with the gas lift, allowing the office chair to raise, lower, and rotate normally.

Step 4: Install the Armrests and Headrest Finally, install the armrests and headrest. The armrests are usually fixed to both sides of the seat with screws. During installation, adjust the height and angle of the armrests to conform to ergonomics and provide comfortable support. The installation method of the headrest also varies depending on the model; some are directly placed over the backrest, while others are fixed with screws. Install it according to the manual and adjust it to the appropriate position.

For the MSD Mingsenda A103 chair, since it has specific installation instructions, prioritize referring to its dedicated installation guide if you encounter any differences from the conventional installation method during the installation process.
