Mobile Office Chair Adjustment

Admin October 14, 2026

Office chair adjustments should be made according to specific functions. Common adjustment methods are as follows:

Backrest Recline Adjustment

Most office chair backrest adjustments are made using handles or knobs. For handle adjustment, locate the adjustment handle on the right side or the right side of the seat cushion. Pull the handle and lean back slightly with your back, then release to fix the angle. To return to an upright position, continue pulling the handle and lean forward slightly. Some chairs adjust the recline tension using a cylindrical knob on the base; turning it clockwise increases support, while turning it counterclockwise decreases support. High-end models like the AutoFull S7 support locking at any angle; simply pull the handle back to its original position after reclining to the desired angle to fix it.

Forward and Backward Position Adjustment

There are various methods for adjusting the forward and backward position. For gas lift adjustment, sit on the chair and lean forward, then pull up the control lever under the chair and lean back to adjust the angle; push down the control lever and lean forward to return to the original position. For knob adjustment, turn the knob on the side or under the chair counterclockwise to release the lock, adjust the angle, and then turn it clockwise to tighten and secure it. For lever adjustment, pull the lever on the side to switch between gears, with each gear corresponding to a fixed tilt angle. The AutoFull S7 allows forward and backward movement using the handle on the right side of the seat cushion; pull the handle forward to move the seat cushion, and pull it back after adjustment to lock the position.

Other Function Adjustments

  • Height Adjustment: Lift the wire control handle on the right side of the seat cushion and raise your hips to raise the chair; press down on the handle to lower the chair.
  • Armrest Adjustment: The AutoFull S7 supports armrest height adjustment (pull the outer dial upward while lifting), 360ยฐ rotation (turn the armrest surface left or right), and up-and-down folding (press the button on the underside).
  • Headrest Adjustment: Adjust the height, position, and angle by pulling up and down, pulling forward and backward, or rotating.
  • Lumbar Support Function: The AutoFull S7 is equipped with adaptive adjustment, stretch mode switching, and ventilation functions, which are operated using the buttons on the left side of the armrest. Press the corresponding button to activate the adaptive mode.

Operation Tips: Before making adjustments, confirm the chair model and refer to the instruction manual or markings on the chair for guidance. Some functions, such as the lumbar support adaptive mode on the AutoFull S7, require pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds to activate, to avoid accidental triggering and function failure. Maintain balance while adjusting to avoid damaging components due to excessive force.
