Mesh Fabric Office Chair Cleaning

Admin October 09, 2026

There are several methods for cleaning mesh fabric office chairs, and you can choose the appropriate one based on the actual situation:

When you have a vacuum cleaner: First, use the vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean the office chair. The purpose of this step is to adsorb dust particles as a whole and reduce the difficulty of subsequent cleaning. Next, dilute the cleaning agent. You can also inject the diluted cleaning agent into the water tank and then spray it all over the office chair to ensure that every part is covered. After spraying, let the cleaning agent stay on the office chair for a while. The duration depends on the stubbornness of the stains, usually a few minutes, to make the stains detach from the fibers. After that, use a sauna machine and a high-temperature cleaning machine alternately for extraction and washing. Conduct at least two rounds of extraction and washing to ensure that the cleaning agent and stains are completely removed. Finally, dry it with a dryer. If you don't have these electrical appliances at home, you can also use a soft brush to gently scrub and then place it in a well-ventilated area to air-dry.

When you don't have a vacuum cleaner: Without a vacuum cleaner, you can first use tools like a feather duster to remove the surface dust. Then, add a little detergent to clean water, soak a cloth in the water, and wring it out well to avoid excessive moisture causing the mesh fabric to deform. Next, use the cloth to scrub the chair several times to remove surface stains. Finally, use a soft brush to gently scrub, especially the areas with heavy stains, and then place it in a well-ventilated area to air-dry. If you want it to dry quickly, you can also consider using a hair dryer, but be careful not to blow at it for too long to avoid high-temperature damage to the mesh fabric.

Other methods: For local stains, you can first spray the cleaning agent on the dirty mesh fabric. For hard-to-remove stains, you need to let it sit for 1 - 5 minutes to allow the cleaning agent to fully penetrate and decompose the stains. Finally, wipe it clean with a damp cloth. This method is suitable for cleaning small-area stains, and it is simple to operate and has a significant effect.
