Mass Sci-Fi Office Chair

Admin October 10, 2026

The Mass Sci-Fi Office Chair is an electric office chair that integrates automotive technology, boasts rich features, and has a unique design. There is only one such chair in the world, primarily used for activities related to Volkswagen's commercial vehicle models.

Appearance Design

The appearance design of this office chair mimics that of a car seat, with an overall shape that is truly distinctive, resembling a miniature car. It is equipped with numerous automotive components, such as a touch screen, headlights, a "reverse" radar imaging system, a horn, an information system, a rear camera, and reverse sensors. The inclusion of these components fills the office chair with a sense of technology and futurism, breaking away from the traditional design patterns of office chairs.

Power and Control

This office chair is powered by an electric motor and adopts a "rear-wheel drive" approach. There are two pedals at the bottom of the seat, allowing users to control acceleration, deceleration, and turning, similar to driving a car. Its "speed" can reach 19 or 20 kilometers per hour, and it can travel 12 kilometers on a one-hour charge, possessing certain mobility capabilities to meet short-distance movement needs within office areas or specific venues.

Safety and Comfort Features

In terms of safety, it is equipped with 360-degree collision avoidance sensors, a rear camera with full-course navigation, and seat belts. When the distance sensors detect obstacles, an alarm will sound to prevent collisions and ensure the safety of the user. For comfort, it has heated seats to provide warmth in cold environments, a USB charger for convenient charging of electronic devices, and party lights to create different atmospheres.

Other Special Features

It also has some special features, such as a trailer hitch and a "trunk" (pocket), adding to its practicality. The LED headlights can provide illumination in low-light environments. However, there is only one such electric office chair in the world. Volkswagen initially had no plans for mass production, but after its exposure, it sparked strong enthusiasm among car enthusiasts.
