Liusha Office Chair Repair

Admin October 11, 2026

The repair of Liusha office chairs requires selecting the appropriate method based on the specific type of fault. Common problems and their handling methods are as follows:

I. Hydraulic Rod (Gas Rod) Failure

If there is a failure in lifting or lowering, automatic sinking, or inability to lock the height, the entire hydraulic rod usually needs to be replaced. Operation Steps:

  1. Safely Remove the Old Rod: Use a pipe wrench to rotate counterclockwise to separate the five-star base, pry open the retaining clip or unscrew the fixing screws to separate the seat. Note: The hydraulic rod is a one-time sealed component. Drilling, heating, or disassembling it is prohibited, as it may cause an explosion.
  2. Measure Parameters and Purchase a New Rod: Measure the total length, pipe diameter (e.g., Class 3/4), and stroke of the old rod. Select a new rod of the same size with safety certification (price range: approximately 30-100 yuan).
  3. Installation and Testing: Install the new rod into the seat and five-star base, ensure it is firmly installed, and then test the smoothness of lifting and lowering and the firmness of locking.

II. Backrest Unable to Stand Upright

  1. Check the Hydraulic System: If the pivot screw of the hydraulic rod is damaged (e.g., a non-standard 10*1 screw), replace it with a standard No. 10 screw or adjust it by tapping or adding a washer.
  2. Adjust the Screw Position: Ensure that the screw, after installation, does not obstruct the movement range of the hydraulic rod to avoid the backrest being unable to stand upright due to friction.

III. Damage to Other Components

  1. Wheel Replacement: Turn the chair upside down, use a wrench to remove the damaged wheel, install a new wheel of the same model, and test its rotational flexibility.
  2. Loose Backrest: Remove the backrest, apply woodworking glue to the contact surface, reinstall it, and press it firmly until the glue cures.
  3. Broken Armrest: Glue the broken part with strong adhesive, fix it with clamps for 24 hours, and then reinstall it.
  4. Damaged Seat Cushion: Trim the damaged fabric, mend or replace it with similar fabric, and then reinstall it.

Suggestion: Replacing the hydraulic rod involves high-pressure components, and the operation carries a relatively high risk. If you lack repair experience, it is recommended to contact a professional repair technician for handling. Before repairing, turn off the lifting function of the chair (if available) and wear protective gloves to avoid scratches or injuries from component ejection.
