Disassembly of Lifting Office Chair
The disassembly of a lifting office chair can be carried out according to the following steps:

Prepare Tools
You need to prepare a hammer, preferably a rubber hammer. If you use a regular hammer, place a towel on the striking part to prevent scratching the paint on the chair surface and affecting its appearance.
Separate the Backrest
First, separate the backrest from the seat cushion. The connection methods of the backrests of chairs of different models may vary slightly, but generally, by observing the structure of the connection part, you can find the fixing devices such as buckles or screws. After releasing the fixing, the backrest can be separated.
Remove the Base
There are two common methods:
- Method 1: Raise the pneumatic rod to its highest position. Hold the seat cushion tightly with one hand and press the lifting lever with the other hand while gently shaking the base several times. Use the expansion and shaking of the pneumatic rod to separate the base from the seat cushion.
- Method 2: Turn the chair upside down on the ground. Find the screws that fix the bottom tray and remove them with appropriate tools to separate the tray from the seat cushion. Then, disassemble the chassis, pneumatic rod, and chair legs. You can hold the chair upside down with one hand and strike the chassis position with a rubber hammer. After several strikes, the chassis can be separated from the pneumatic rod and other components.
Remove the Pneumatic Rod
Turn the chair legs upside down and strike the bottom of the pneumatic rod evenly with the side of the hammer. Be sure to use a flat surface when striking because there is a buckle in the middle of the pneumatic rod. If the height of the buckle is higher than the bottom of the rod, do not strike this part to avoid damaging the pneumatic rod or causing safety problems. You can also directly knock out the pneumatic rod with a rubber hammer. If you don't have a rubber hammer, you can place a piece of wood at the bottom of the pneumatic rod and then strike it.
Remove the Wheels
The wheels are generally fixed to the chair legs by buckles or pins. Usually, you can directly pull them out forcefully. If the wheels are tightly connected to the chair legs, you can shake the wheels left and right appropriately to increase the pulling force, but be careful not to use excessive force to avoid damaging the chair legs or the wheels.
