Check the Parts
Before starting the installation, carefully check the parts of the office chair. Generally, common parts include 5 casters, one pressure lift rod, one five-star base, one control lift mechanism tray, and one seat. Ensure that all parts are complete, which is the basis for a smooth installation. If any part is found to be missing, contact the merchant promptly for a replacement to avoid interruption during the subsequent installation process due to missing parts.
Install the Tray
Turn the chair upside down so that its bottom faces up. Locate the screws under the seat cushion and use an appropriate tool (such as a screwdriver) to remove them. Then, accurately install the control lift mechanism tray on the bottom of the seat cushion and secure it firmly with screws. During the installation process, pay attention to the direction and position of the tray to ensure it is installed correctly. Otherwise, it may affect subsequent use and the normal functioning of the lift feature.
Install the Casters
Install the five casters on the five feet of the five-star base respectively. When installing, ensure that each caster is installed firmly to avoid looseness. You can gently shake the casters by hand to check if they are installed securely. If the casters are not installed firmly, problems such as uneven sliding or caster detachment may occur during the use of the chair, posing certain safety hazards.
Connect the Pressure Lift Rod to the Five-Star Base and the Seat
Place the five-star base upright on the ground and ensure it is placed steadily. Then, connect the thicker end with a hole of the pressure lift rod to the five-star base. Make sure the connection is tight with no gaps. Next, install the seat with the installed tray on the pressure lift rod and also ensure it is installed firmly. During the installation process, pay attention to the direction and position of the pressure lift rod to avoid incorrect installation that may prevent the chair from being used normally.
Check for Safety
After completing the above installation steps, conduct a safety check. Try sitting on the chair and hold the handle of the control lift mechanism tray with your hand to see if the lift function can be used normally. At the same time, check whether all parts of the chair are installed firmly and if there is any looseness or abnormal noise. If any problems are found, make adjustments and repairs promptly to ensure the safe use of the chair.
