Leisure Office Chair Production

Admin October 22, 2026

The production process of leisure office chairs typically includes key steps such as frame making, spring installation, back construction, and leather and foam processing.

Frame making is the foundation of leisure office chair production. Workers use hydraulic-powered machines to bend 14-gauge steel tubes into the required shapes to create the frame for the bottom cushion. Then, they connect the ends of the frame and weld steel bars in the middle. These steel bars will support the seat adjustment mechanism. The stability of the frame directly affects the overall quality and durability of the chair, so this step requires precise operation and strict quality control.

In the spring installation step, workers hang S-shaped steel springs from the front to the back of the seat frame. These wave-shaped springs form an elastic net in the seat, providing a comfortable sitting experience for users. Subsequently, horizontal bars are placed and clamped onto the springs to add extra stability and support. The selection and installation method of springs are crucial for the chair's comfort and support.

For the back construction part, it is necessary to build the back frame of the chair, including the spine, armrest attachments, and other components. During the construction process, burrs and other rough areas on the steel should be ground down to ensure user safety. The design of the back frame should not only consider aesthetics but also take into account comfort and support to meet the needs of different users.

In the leather and foam processing step, for leisure office chairs with leather materials, workers smooth the leather and place it evenly on the cutting table. Then, they cut patterns according to cardboard templates, avoiding natural flaws on the leather to ensure that the cut leather parts are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. At the same time, they also need to cut the foam pads for the back of the chair and pay attention to parameters such as the density of the foam in the chair to provide comfortable support and a sitting experience.

In addition to the above key steps, the production of leisure office chairs may also involve other steps such as assembly, debugging, and quality inspection. These steps together ensure that the quality and performance of leisure office chairs meet relevant standards and requirements.
