Leather Office Chair Crack Repair
The repair method for a cracked leather office chair can be chosen based on the size of the crack, or general repair and refurbishment steps can be adopted. Some operations are recommended to be carried out by professionals.

If the crack is tiny, you can prepare tools such as acrylic resin and a hairdryer. Apply the acrylic resin evenly to the crack, ensuring that the resin fully fills the interior of the crack. Then carefully align the crack to restore it to its original state. Use the hairdryer to dry the crack, allowing the resin to cure quickly and thus bond the crack together.
If the crack is large, you need to prepare non-woven lining, cotton cloth, an iron, a hairdryer, etc. First, take a piece of non-woven lining slightly larger than the crack and place it under the crack to provide support and assist in the repair. Place a layer of cotton cloth on top of the crack to prevent the iron from directly contacting the leather and causing damage. Use the iron with an appropriate temperature and pressure to press and shape it, allowing the non-woven lining to better adhere to the leather through heat. When the leather surface becomes flat, remove the padding cloth and finally dry it with a hairdryer to make the repaired part more secure.
You can also adopt the general steps for repairing and refurbishing leather chairs. The first step is cleaning. Use an oil-removing cleaner and a sponge to carefully wipe the smooth leather part to remove dirt and grease on the surface, and then use a cotton cloth to wipe away the residual liquid. Next, perform deep cleaning by repeating the above steps to ensure that the dirt on the leather is completely removed. Then comes repair. Use a scraper to evenly apply leather repair paste to the cracks with an appropriate thickness. After drying it with a hairdryer or letting it dry naturally, gently sand it with fine sandpaper until it is smooth. If the result is not satisfactory, repeat the operation. After that, perform color matching. According to the original color of the leather, mix the required color based on color matching principles. Then carry out refurbishment and color change. Thoroughly stir the oil-based leather color-changing paint and load it into a spray gun. Spray it evenly twice using a cross-hatch pattern to ensure that the color evenly covers the leather surface. Finally, perform maintenance. Use a sponge to dip leather maintenance essence lotion and evenly apply it to the leather surface. After it dries, gently polish it with a polishing machine to restore the luster and texture of the leather. This method is more suitable for professional leather care shops or leather goods factories and is not recommended for individual household use.
