Large Office Chair Assembly
The assembly of a large office chair generally follows the steps below, and it is recommended to install from the bottom up:

Install the casters and chair base Install each caster into the corresponding hole on the chair base one by one, ensuring that each caster is firmly installed and rotates flexibly. After installation, insert the gas lift vertically into the central hole of the chair base. Pay attention to the installation direction of the gas lift; usually, the end with the adjustment button faces upwards. This step provides basic support for subsequent components, so it is necessary to ensure a stable connection between the chair base and the gas lift.
Fix the chassis and seat Place the chassis at the bottom of the seat, align the screw holes, and then initially fix it with screws. It is recommended to screw each screw in 3-4 turns one by one to avoid chassis misalignment due to unilateral force. After all screws are initially in place, tighten them one by one until they are completely fixed. The orientation of the chassis should match the design of the seat; usually, the side with the adjustment lever or brand logo faces forward.
Connect the backrest and seat After the seat is fixed, connect the backrest to the seat. First, use screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest bracket, ensuring that the screws penetrate the corresponding holes in the bracket and the backrest. Then, align the back of the backrest with the installation holes of the seat cushion bracket and use two wrenches to lock the screws (that is, one wrench fixes the nut, and the other wrench tightens the screw) to prevent the components from loosening. Pay attention to the tightening force of the screws in this step to avoid slipping due to excessive force.
Install the base and gas lift Align the assembled seat part with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically into the hole in the chassis, ensuring sufficient insertion depth and no shaking. Then, insert the base (usually a five-claw structure) vertically into the bottom of the gas lift to complete the connection between the seat and the support structure. In this step, check whether the adjustment function of the gas lift is normal, such as whether the lifting and lowering are smooth.
Install the armrests and headrest Press the button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. A clicking sound indicates that they are installed in place. When installing the headrest, first place it in the middle at the top of the backrest, press the headrest installation area to make it fit the backrest, and then use screws to pass through the headrest fixing buckle for fixation. The screws should be initially screwed in 3-4 turns, and then tightened one by one after adjusting the angle of the headrest to ensure that the headrest is stable and adjustable.
Precautions: Check the parts list before assembly to avoid omissions; control the force when using tools to prevent damage to the components; if there is a deviation in the screw holes, realign them before tightening, and do not force the installation.
