Kano Office Chair Installation
Admin October 14, 2026
Although there are no specific installation instructions for the Kano office chair, the following steps can be referred to for the installation of a regular office chair:

I. Preparation before Installation
- Check the Parts: After opening the package, check whether the hardware, screws, and instruction manual are complete according to the packing list. Common parts include casters, pressure lift rods, five-star bases, control lift mechanism trays, seats, backrests, armrests, etc..
- Check the Tools: Some installations may require tools such as screwdrivers, so prepare them in advance.
II. Installation Sequence
- Install the Armrests and Backrest
- If the chair is designed with the armrests separated from the seat cushion, first fix the armrests to both sides of the seat cushion with screws (for some models, install the tray first: turn the chair over, remove the screws at the bottom of the seat cushion, and install the tray to the bottom of the seat cushion).
- After installing the control lift mechanism (tray), connect the backrest to the seat cushion, ensuring that the buckles or screws are firmly fixed.
- Assemble the Five-Star Base and Casters
- Insert the five casters into the five ends of the five-star base respectively, and press firmly to ensure that the casters are fully embedded and not loose.
- Connect the Pressure Lift Rod and the Five-Star Base
- Insert the thicker end with a hole of the pressure lift rod (gas rod) into the center hole of the five-star base, ensuring vertical alignment.
- Fix the Chair Body and the Lift Rod
- Align the upper part of the installed chair body (including the seat cushion, backrest, and armrests) with the top of the gas rod and press it down vertically until it is fully locked (or connect it to the lift rod through the tray).
III. Inspection after Installation
- Function Test: Sit on the chair, operate the handle of the control lift mechanism tray, and check whether the lift and rotation functions are smooth.
- Stability Check: Shake the chair by hand to confirm that there is no looseness or abnormal noise; during the sitting pressure test, each part (such as casters, five-star base, lift rod) should be able to bear normal body weight without deformation.
- Safety Confirmation: Check whether all screws are tightened and whether the buckles are in place to avoid the risk of falling off during use.
Precautions: If any parts are found to be missing or the sizes do not match during the installation process, contact after-sales service immediately; it is recommended to perform the first lift operation slowly to avoid abnormal pressure inside the gas rod.
