Installing Casters for Office Chairs
The steps for installing casters on office chairs are as follows:

The installation methods for casters vary among different styles of office chairs, but generally, they can be divided into general replacement steps and specific model installation steps.
General Replacement Steps:
When replacing casters, first lay the chair down to ensure sufficient operating space and prevent damage to the chair or injury to personnel from tipping. To remove the old caster, pull in the opposite direction of the force core, as the caster is designed with a snap ring structure that inserts into a hole in the corner of the chair leg to secure the caster's position. Apply a certain amount of force when pulling, but avoid excessive force that could damage the chair leg or caster. When installing the new caster, align the caster's hole with the installation hole on the chair leg and continuously push it in along the hole's direction until the caster is fully embedded and the snap ring clicks into the hole, ensuring the caster is firmly secured. This step is suitable for most office chairs with removable casters. When operating, pay attention to applying even force to avoid deformation of the caster or chair leg.
Specific Model Installation Steps:
For the T37 hollow-out model office chair, first connect the chair body to the chair legs, and then install the gas lift. The gas lift, as the core component for adjusting the chair's height, must be securely connected to the chair legs and body to avoid safety hazards caused by looseness. When installing, check that the surface of the gas lift is smooth, without scratches or deformation, to ensure its normal telescoping function.
For the 103/302/303/401/305/306 caster-model office chairs, first install the five-star base and wheels. The five-star base, as the supporting structure, must be securely connected to the wheels to prevent them from falling off during use. When installing, align the wheel's axle hole with the installation hole on the five-star base and press firmly until fully embedded. Then, place the gas lift into the central hole of the five-star base, ensuring the gas lift is vertical and tightly connected to the five-star base to prevent the chair from tilting or wobbling.
Precautions:
Before installation, check that the casters, chair legs, gas lift, and other components are intact, without cracks or damage. If any components are defective, replace them promptly to avoid safety hazards. During installation, avoid using sharp tools to strike the components to prevent scratches or deformation. After installation, test the chair's functions, including whether the casters rotate smoothly and whether the gas lift raises and lowers flexibly, to ensure the chair is safe and reliable for use.
