Installation Steps for Office Chair Feet

Admin October 10, 2026

The installation steps for different types of office chair feet are as follows:

Red Heart Solid Wood Foot Office Chair:

  • Check Components: After opening the express package, the first task is to carefully inspect the components. Pay special attention to the solid wood feet and the gas lift rod, checking for any missing parts, scratches, or other damage. Since the solid wood feet and the gas lift rod are key components of this office chair, their integrity directly affects the chair's performance and safety. If any damage is found, contact the merchant promptly for a replacement.
  • Install Chair Feet and Gas Lift Rod: Place the solid wood chair feet face up on a stable surface and insert the gas lift rod vertically into the center hole of the chair feet, ensuring it is installed properly and firmly secured. This step requires precise alignment between the gas lift rod and the center hole of the chair feet to avoid misalignment, which could lead to wobbling issues during chair use. After installation, first fit the small dust cover, followed by the large dust cover in order. The dust covers serve to protect the gas lift rod and prevent dust from entering.
  • Assemble Chair Body and Five-Star Foot Component: Lay the chair body down steadily, take the assembled five-star foot component, and align the top of the gas lift rod with the center installation hole at the bottom of the chair body, pushing it in firmly. Ensure a tight fit between the two during the pushing process to prevent looseness.
  • Stand Up the Chair and Test: Hold both sides of the chair body with your hands and slowly stand the chair up. Then remove the outer packaging and test the lifting and rotating functions of the gas lift rod, while also checking for any wobbling or unusual noises in the components. If any issues are found, re-examine the installation steps to identify the problem and make adjustments.
