Installation of Bow-Shaped Office Chair

Admin October 10, 2026

The installation of a bow-shaped office chair can be carried out according to the following steps:

I. Preparation Before installation, carefully check the parts list to ensure that all tools such as screws and wrenches are complete, and read the installation instructions carefully. Different models of bow-shaped chairs may have differences in parts. For example, the W901 integrated bow-leg model requires distinguishing between long screws (used to fix the bow legs and armrests) and short screws (used to fix the headrest and backrest). These should be sorted and stored in advance to avoid confusion.

II. Installing the Armrests Choose the appropriate method according to the chair model:

  1. Basic Model Installation: Some bow-shaped chairs use short screws to connect the backrest and the seat cushion. Align the armrests with the holes and directly screw in the screws. Pay attention to ensuring that the left and right armrests are symmetrically oriented.
  2. Tooth-Slot Fixed Model: Some armrests have a toothed structure on the inside. When installing, insert the teeth inward into the corresponding slots on the seat cushion, and then fix them with screws from the bottom. This design enhances the stability of the armrests.
  3. W901 Integrated Model: This requires two steps - first, use four long screws to fix the armrests to the bottom of the seat cushion, and tighten them with a wrench until they cannot shake; then, use four short screws to connect the armrests to the backrest from the side of the backrest, ensuring that the screws are fully embedded in the holes.

III. Installing the Seat Cushion and Backrest Place the seat cushion flat on the ground and align the backrest with the connection holes at the back of the seat cushion. Two people need to cooperate to hold the backrest upright to prevent it from shifting. Insert the screws from the bottom of the seat cushion and initially tighten them. After all the holes are aligned, reinforce them one by one to avoid structural misalignment due to unilateral force.

IV. Installing Other Components

  1. W901 Integrated Model Special Items:
    • Bow Leg Fixing: Use four long screws to connect the bow-shaped bracket to the bottom of the seat cushion. Tighten them crosswise to distribute the pressure.
    • Headrest Installation: Insert the headrest into the card slot at the top of the backrest and fix it with two short screws from the back of the backrest. Repeat the operation to ensure that both sides are secure.
  2. General Model Finalization: Some chairs require the five-star base to be installed last. Align the center hole of the base with the interface at the bottom of the seat cushion, insert the screws, and tighten them with a wrench. Check whether the base rotates smoothly.

V. Quality Inspection After installation is complete, conduct a comprehensive inspection:

  • Shake the chair to test whether the connections are loose, with a focus on the screws of the armrests and the backrest.
  • Sit on it to experience the load-bearing effect and confirm that there are no abnormal noises from the bow legs or the base.
  • Use a wrench to retighten all the screws to prevent subsequent loosening due to incomplete initial installation.

Precautions: Keep the installation environment clean during the process to avoid small parts from rolling away and getting lost. If there is a hole misalignment, do not force the screws in. Instead, check whether the parts are misaligned or if any steps in the instructions have been missed.
