General Installation Steps

1. Install the Chair Wheels and Five-Star Base Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes at the bottom of the five-star base. After ensuring that each wheel is fully embedded, flip the five-star base so that it faces upwards. Check whether the wheels rotate flexibly in this step to avoid jamming.

2. Secure the Gas Lift Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the central hole of the five-star base, place it vertically downwards, and gently press it until it is fully inserted. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so ensure it is installed firmly to avoid tilting.

3. Connect the Seat Base and Seat Cushion Place the seat base at the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the seat base (usually there are markings or grooves for alignment). After aligning the four screw holes, use a screwdriver to screw in the four screws one by one for 3-4 turns (pre-fixing), and then tighten them sequentially until they cannot be turned. Avoid over-tightening the screws in this step to prevent deformation of the seat base.

4. Assemble the Seat Cushion and Gas Lift Align the hole at the bottom of the seat cushion with the top of the gas lift and press it vertically downwards until it is fully embedded in the seat base. You can gently shake the seat cushion at this time to check whether it is tightly connected to the gas lift.

5. Install the Backrest Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the seat cushion. After insertion, first use two screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest bracket, and then align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the seat cushion bracket. Use two wrenches to lock the screws in place (hold the nut with one hand and tighten the screw with the other). Ensure that the backrest is vertical in this step to avoid tilting.

6. Secure the Armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (for some models without a button, just insert directly), align the left and right armrests with the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, and insert them until you hear a 'click' sound, indicating that they are installed in place.

7. Install the Headrest Place the headrest vertically in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit the backrest, pass a screw through the headrest fixing buckle, pre-tighten it for 3-4 turns, and then tighten it one by one. The height of the headrest should be adjusted according to the position of the user's neck.

Supplementary Steps for Some Models

• When there are only 4 accessories: Install the 5 wheels first → insert the gas lift → fix the seat base to the bottom of the seat cushion (using 4 long screws) → finally connect the backrest and the seat cushion with corner screws.
• For the TOAI E1 model: An additional footrest needs to be connected (insert it into the hole at the bottom of the seat cushion) → insert the gas spring into the seat base → the headrest can be directly inserted into the top of the backrest (no screws are required for fixation).

Precautions: Check the accessory list before installation to avoid omissions; tighten the screws with an appropriate force to prevent slipping; if there is jamming, do not force it. Instead, check whether the holes are aligned.
