1. Remove the casters
Place the chair upright and grasp the wheels directly with your hands to pull them out. If the gas lift still cannot be pulled out, hold the gas lift firmly with one hand and use a hammer to lightly tap the edge of the chassis in a circular motion to separate the two through vibration; if it is severely stuck, apply a small amount of cooking oil to the surface of the gas lift for lubrication and let it sit for 1-2 hours before trying again. Control the tapping force in this step to avoid damaging the internal structure of the gas lift.

3. Remove the armrests, headrest, and tilt mechanism
For some models (such as Lofall), the armrests and headrest are fixed with hex screws and require a hex wrench of the corresponding size for removal. If the tilt adjustment mechanism is designed to be removable, it is usually necessary to first remove the screws connecting the seat cushion to the base and then separate the control lever or spring components. It is recommended to take photos to record the positions of each component before operation for easy subsequent assembly.

4. Separate the base from the seat cushion
If the base and seat cushion are fixed with screws, simply remove the screws to separate them; if it is a plug-in structure (such as some models of Griffea), hold both sides of the seat cushion with both hands and pull it upward forcefully to disengage the snap-fit from the base. When pulling hard, be careful to maintain balance to avoid the seat cushion bouncing up and causing injury.
