Hydraulic Office Chair Assembly
Admin October 16, 2026
The assembly steps for a hydraulic office chair are as follows:

I. Install the Base
- Align the casters (wheels) with the mounting holes on the metal base frame and press firmly until fully embedded, ensuring each caster is securely installed.
- Insert the hydraulic rod (gas lift) into the reserved hole in the center of the base. Confirm that the gas lift model matches the chair design, and prioritize using a Class 3 or Class 4 gas lift for safety.
II. Install the Seat Section
- Install the Adjustment Lever: Align the adjustment lever accessory with the mounting position on the back of the seat surface and tighten the fixing screws with a screwdriver to ensure the lever operates normally.
- Connect the Backrest and Armrests: Use screws to initially connect the backrest and armrests. Be careful not to fully tighten the screws to allow for subsequent position adjustments.
- Secure the Armrests to the Seat Cushion: Insert the partially fixed armrests into the corresponding slots on the seat cushion plate. Use long screws to pass through the holes in the armrests and seat cushion plate and tighten them, while also tightening the backrest screws to secure the overall structure.
III. Overall Assembly
- Align the assembled seat section with the top of the hydraulic rod and slowly lower it until the seat is fully in contact with the hydraulic rod, ensuring a secure connection.
- Special Model Handling: For models like the Sihoo C300, additional steps are required:
- Use screws to connect the footrest to the seat cushion and the backrest to the chassis tail plate.
- Connect the armrests to the backrest connecting rod, adjust the angle, and then secure them.
- Align the chassis hole with the top of the gas lift, insert it vertically, and confirm that the catch is in place.
IV. Install the Headrest (if applicable)
Align the headrest post with the reserved hole at the top of the backrest, insert it vertically, and then secure it with screws from the back of the backrest to ensure the headrest is adjustable and free of looseness.
V. Inspection and Adjustment
- Screw Tightness: Check each screw one by one to ensure they are tightened, especially at the connection between the seat and the hydraulic rod and the fixing points of the armrests and seat cushion.
- Hydraulic Function Test: Sit on the chair and operate the adjustment lever to confirm that the hydraulic rod can raise, lower, and rotate normally without any stuttering or unusual noises.
- Abnormality Handling: If the hydraulic rod cannot raise or lower, check whether it is due to hydraulic oil leakage, damaged seals, or excessive oil temperature. Contact after-sales service to replace the parts.
Precautions:
- Before assembly, count all the accessories and refer to the instruction manual or parts list to verify the quantity and avoid omissions.
- Keep the hydraulic rod vertical during installation to avoid uneven pressure or damage to the internal structure due to tilting.
- It is recommended to wear gloves during assembly to prevent screws from scratching your hands or damaging the chair surface.
