How to Unlock Office Chairs
The unlocking methods for different types of office chairs vary as follows:

Office chairs with knob adjustments: If the chair is equipped with locking and unlocking functions, pushing the knob inward usually locks the chair in its current position, while pulling it outward releases the lock. Some high-end ergonomic chairs have knobs on the side or back of the seat; turning them counterclockwise typically unlocks the chair or reduces the resistance to reclining. At this point, leaning forward allows the backrest to reset easily.
Lever-adjusted chairs: Locate the adjustment lever beneath the seat (usually on the right side). Pull the control lever fully out again, and the backrest should automatically return to its upright position under the action of the built-in spring. If it does not reset automatically, assist by pushing the backrest forward. Once the backrest is fully upright, push the control lever into the correct locking pin hole to secure it, completing the unlocking and fixing process.
Gas-lift-adjusted chairs: Find the adjustment handle beneath the chair. Pull the handle upward (or press the side button on some models) while leaning forward. The backrest will follow your body's movement and return to an upright position. Release the handle to re-fix the angle, achieving unlocking and angle adjustment.
Office chairs with rocking function: If the chair can rock slightly back and forth, the rocking function lock may have been disengaged. Locate the rocking function adjustment lever or lock beneath the chair (usually on the side) and push it back in to lock the chair, stopping the rocking and fixing the angle, thereby restoring the unlocked state.
Old office chairs in games: Open the game, click on facilities, select the old office chair in the facilities interface, enter the viewing interface, and click to unlock immediately. However, this unlocking method applies only to game scenarios and is unrelated to unlocking real-life office chairs.
When unlocking an office chair, first identify the type of chair and then follow the corresponding method. Be mindful of applying moderate force during the process to avoid damaging chair components due to excessive force. If unsure about the operation, refer to the product manual or consult a professional.
