How to Install an Office Chair
The steps for installing an office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Chair Base and Casters First, insert each caster into the five-pronged assembly holes one by one, or install the casters onto the chair base one at a time first. After the caster installation is complete, place the thicker end of the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the chair base to ensure a firm connection between the gas lift and the chair base. In this step, pay attention to keeping the directions of the casters consistent to prevent the chair base from tilting after installation; the gas lift should be fully inserted into the hole to prevent loosening during subsequent use.
Step 2: Secure the Seat Plate and Seat Place the seat plate on the seat. Confirm the orientation according to the markings on the seat plate (such as the position of the adjustment lever and the direction of the brand logo). After aligning the screw holes of the seat and the seat plate, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in 3 - 4 turns first. Ensure that all screws are initially fixed before tightening them one by one. In this step, avoid over-tightening a single screw, which may cause the seat plate to tilt; keep the force on each screw even.
Step 3: Connect the Backrest and Seat Align the seat with the gas lift and insert it into the hole in the seat plate to ensure a tight connection between the gas lift and the seat plate. Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the installation positions of the armrests on both sides of the seat and insert them. First, use 2 screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, then align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the seat brackets and fix them with screws using two wrenches for locking. In this step, check whether the gap between the backrest and the seat is even to avoid backrest wobbling due to installation deviations.
Step 4: Install the Armrests Press the button below the armrest surface (for some models, press the buckle), and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. When you hear a 'click' sound or feel increased resistance, it means the armrests are installed in place. In this step, pay attention to distinguishing between the left and right armrests to avoid installing them backward; after installation, gently shake the armrests to confirm that there is no looseness.
Step 5: Install the Headrest Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest and press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit more closely with the backrest. Thread a screw through the headrest fixing buckle, screw each screw in 3 - 4 turns, and then tighten them one by one to ensure a firm connection between the headrest and the backrest. In this step, adjust the height of the headrest to a comfortable position and avoid over-tightening the screws, which may cause the headrest to tilt.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check whether all accessories are complete to avoid missing parts during the process;
- Use the matching tools (such as screwdrivers and wrenches) during operation to avoid damaging the parts with brute force;
- After installation is complete, conduct a comprehensive check to ensure that all components are firmly connected and ensure safe use.
