How to Adjust Office Chairs

Admin October 17, 2026

The adjustment methods for office chairs vary depending on their type and design. Here are the adjustment methods for common types of office chairs:

Leisure Dynamic Ergonomic Chair:
Adjusting the headrest height of this type of office chair is relatively simple. You can achieve height adjustment by pulling up the headrest to meet the neck support needs of users of different heights. However, note that the front-to-back adjustment method is not detailed in the reference information. For further adjustments, it is recommended to refer to the product manual or contact after-sales service for specific operational guidance.

C100 Premium Office Chair:
This chair offers a variety of adjustment functions. For front-to-back adjustment of the seat, locate the metal lever underneath, and push it forward to move the seat forward or backward to accommodate different sitting postures. The height adjustment of the seat is also operated through the metal lever underneath; pushing it forward raises or lowers the seat height. Regarding armrest adjustment, this chair features a notch design. Users can gently lift the armrests to the highest position, at which point the armrests will automatically return to the initial notch. Subsequently, you can select other notches for fixation according to your needs.

Computer Lift Chair (Pneumatic or Electric):
These chairs are usually equipped with plus (+) and minus (-) buttons as quick-control switches for seat height adjustment. When adjusting, sit on the chair, ensure your feet are flat on the ground and your knees are naturally bent at a 90-degree angle. Then, press the โ€œ+โ€ button to raise the seat and the โ€œ-โ€ button to lower it. If it has a lever design, lift the lever upward to raise the seat and press it downward to lower it. Maintain body balance during operation to avoid discomfort caused by sudden lifting or lowering.

Ordinary Office Chair:
For traditional ordinary office chairs, to lower the seat height, have someone sit on the chair or press down hard on the chair with your hands. Then, locate the handle on the support rod and lift it. The seat will naturally descend due to gravity. If it is an inflatable design, locate the knob on the gas cylinder and turn it clockwise to lower the seat and counterclockwise to raise it. Be careful with the force during adjustment to avoid damaging the gas cylinder due to excessive rotation.
