Homemade Small Office Chair
There are mainly two methods for making a homemade small office chair: DIY with disposable chopsticks and DIY with cardboard furniture.

DIY Mini Rotating Office Chair with Disposable Chopsticks: This method uses discarded disposable chopsticks as the main material. Through clever design and assembly, a delicate mini office chair with a rotating function can be made. During the production process, the disposable chopsticks need to be properly processed first, such as cutting and sanding, to ensure that their size and shape meet the design requirements. Then, according to a certain structural layout, the chopsticks are spliced and fixed together to form the frame of the chair. For the rotating function, it can be achieved by installing a small rotating device at the bottom of the chair, such as using small beads or bearings. Finally, the chair is decorated with details, such as sanding it smooth and coloring it, to make its appearance more beautiful. This mini rotating office chair is not only practical but can also serve as a desktop decoration, adding a touch of fun.
DIY Cardboard Furniture Making: DIY cardboard furniture making is an even simpler and more environmentally friendly method. First, prepare a suitable piece of cardboard and draw two circles on it as the seat and the bottom of the backrest of the chair. Then, draw two fan-shaped pieces as the main part of the backrest and cut them out. Next, take out tissue paper and fold it multiple times. Cut out tissue paper pieces of an appropriate size according to the size of the cardboard and stick them on the cardboard as the seat cushion of the chair. To increase comfort and aesthetics, you can wrap the cardboard with patterned cloth and cut out suitable cloth pieces, stick them with glue, and trim the edges. Then, combine the seat cushion and the backrest to ensure a firm connection between them. Finally, use four matches as the legs of the chair and stick them under the seat cushion. A simple cardboard chair is thus completed. This method not only has easily obtainable materials but also has a simple and easy-to-understand production process, suitable for beginners to try.
