Homemade Chair & Office Chair
There are mainly several methods for making homemade chairs or office chairs, including industrial-style office chairs, dual-drive convertible office chairs, and simple folding chairs.

Homemade Industrial-Style Office Chair: The main materials are several steel pipes, and its construction is similar to that of water pipes. This chair has a unique home design aesthetic. By cleverly combining the steel pipes, a simple yet stylish appearance can be created, suitable for those who pursue individuality and an industrial style. During the making process, the steel pipes need to be reasonably cut and connected to ensure the stability and safety of the structure.
Homemade Dual-Drive Convertible Office Chair: The making process is relatively complex. First, remove the original office chair base, measure the fixed distance of the bolt holes, cut square steel pipes to make the base support and weld them into shape. This is the foundational support part of the entire chair. Next, cut circular steel pipes and weld them onto the central shaft, seal both ends, draw diagonals to find the center point and drill holes to prepare for the installation of other components. Then, cut rectangular steel pipes to make the chassis, weld them into a C-like shape and drill holes at the four corners. Assemble them with the support frame and fix them with threaded rods to ensure a stable connection between the chassis and the support frame. After that, install the wheels and transmission gears, fix the wheels, and weld the caster wheels to the chassis to enable flexible movement of the chair. Then connect the shock absorbers, weld the motor mounts and install two motors, make a battery compartment and install the battery to provide power support for the chair. Finally, use disposable food containers to install the circuit control board and motor speed switch, fix them on both sides of the armrests, connect all the wires, and complete the installation of the chair's electrical control system.
Simple Homemade Folding Chair: First, find a piece of woodworking board, stick masking tape on the surface and draw a pattern. After cutting, tear off the masking tape and sand the edges with sandpaper to make the surface of the woodworking board smooth and have a beautiful pattern. Then assemble the woodworking boards, use a hole punch to make small circular holes and install hinges. Flip the seat and continue to install hinges to fix them, enabling the folding function of the chair. Finally, unfold the chair, find the support points, mark the traces and make corner holes so that it can just fit inside, ensuring the stability of the chair in the unfolded state.
