Home Office Chair Assembly
The assembly steps for a home office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Casters and Chair Base Install each caster into the corresponding hole on the chair base, ensuring that each caster is fully seated and rotates freely. After installation, insert the gas lift vertically into the center hole of the chair base, making sure the bottom of the gas lift is in tight contact with the base to prevent looseness. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so it must be kept vertical during installation.
Step 2: Secure the Seat Plate and Seat Place the seat plate on the bottom of the seat, align the screw holes, and initially secure them with screws. It is recommended to manually screw each screw in 3-4 turns first to ensure all screws align with the holes, then tighten them one by one using a tool. Pay attention to the orientation of the seat plate in this step; usually, the front and back positions are marked on the plate to avoid incorrect installation that could affect subsequent use.
Step 3: Connect the Backrest and Seat Choose the connection method based on the backrest design:
- If the backrest and seat are fixed with corner brackets, align the corner brackets with the screw holes at the joint between the two, and secure them with screws.
- If it is an integrated design, directly insert the backrest into the slot on the back of the seat until you hear a 'click' sound, indicating it is properly installed. In this step, check the perpendicularity of the backrest and seat to avoid tilting that could cause discomfort during use.
Step 4: Install the Seat Cushion and Gas Lift Align the seat cushion connected to the backrest with the top of the gas lift, and gently press down to fully insert the hole at the bottom of the cushion onto the gas lift. After installation, test the seat's height adjustment function. If the gas lift cannot adjust the height normally, check the tightness of the connection between the cushion and the gas lift.
Step 5: Install the Armrests The installation method for armrests varies by model:
- Method 1: First, align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the seat cushion, and initially secure the backrest with 2 C-screws from the bottom of the armrest bracket. Then, align the back of the backrest with the installation holes on the seat bracket, and secure them with D-screws. Finally, press the button below the armrest surface and insert the armrest into the bracket hole.
- Method 2: Directly secure the armrests to the frame with 3-number screws, ensuring the screws are tightened and the armrests are level. After installation, test the adjustment function of the armrests (if adjustable) to confirm their stability.
Step 6: Install the Headrest Align the headrest with the center position at the top of the backrest, and press the installation area of the headrest to make it fit snugly against the backrest. Insert 2 screws through the headrest fixing clips, manually screw them in 3-4 turns first, then tighten them one by one. After installation, check if the headrest height is adjustable (if applicable) and confirm that its connection with the backrest is not loose.
Precautions:
- Count all components before assembly to avoid missing screws or tools.
- Control the torque when using an electric screwdriver to avoid stripping screws or damaging components.
- After installation, thoroughly check the stability of all components, especially the gas lift and armrests, which bear weight.
