High-Quality Office Chair Assembly

Admin October 11, 2026

The assembly of a high-quality office chair can follow the steps below:

  1. Install the Chair Wheels and Gas Lift Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base one by one. After ensuring each wheel is properly installed, flip the five-star base so that the wheels face downward. Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the five-star base, place it vertically, and gently press it down until it is fully inserted, ensuring a secure connection between the gas lift and the base. In this step, it is important to ensure that the thick end of the gas lift is aligned with the center of the five-star base to avoid misalignment that could make subsequent installation difficult.

  2. Secure the Seat Base and Cushion Place the seat base on the bottom of the cushion, paying attention to its orientation (usually indicated by markings or grooves). After aligning it with the four screw holes on the cushion, screw in the four B screws about 3-4 turns each to initially secure the position of the seat base. Then, tighten the screws one by one to ensure a tight connection between the seat base and the cushion, preventing looseness. In this step, control the tightening force of the screws to prevent deformation of the cushion surface due to excessive force.

  3. Connect the Cushion and Gas Lift Align the cushion with the installed seat base with the top of the gas lift, and insert it vertically downward until the hole in the seat base completely covers the gas lift. During insertion, keep the cushion level to avoid misalignment between the gas lift and the hole in the seat base due to tilting. After insertion, gently shake the cushion to confirm that the connection is secure and there is no wobbling.

  4. Install the Backrest and Armrests Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the installation holes on the armrests of the cushion. First, insert the bottom of the backrest, and then use two C screws to pass through from the bottom of the armrest brackets to initially secure the connection between the backrest and the armrests. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the corresponding holes on the cushion brackets, and use two wrenches in combination with D screws for double-locking fixation (hold one wrench steady to prevent the screw from rotating, and tighten the nut with the other hand) to ensure a firm connection between the backrest and the cushion brackets.

  5. Insert the Armrests and Secure the Headrest Press the button below the armrest surface, and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively. A clicking sound indicates that they are properly installed. Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation area of the headrest to make it fit more closely with the backrest, and use two E screws to pass through the headrest fixing clips. First, screw them in about 3-4 turns to initially secure them, and then tighten the screws one by one to ensure that the headrest is not loose.

Precautions: Before assembly, check that all accessories are complete to avoid interruption of the process due to missing parts in the middle. When tightening the screws, do it in stages, first initially securing them and then fully tightening them to prevent component misalignment. After installation, conduct a comprehensive check of all connection points to ensure safety during use.
