High-End Office Chair Adjustment

Admin October 10, 2026

The adjustment functions of high-end office chairs cover multiple aspects such as seat height, recline angle, lumbar support, armrest height, and headrest. Here are the specific adjustment methods:

Seat Height Adjustment The seat height adjustment of high-end office chairs is usually achieved through a pneumatic device. The adjustment mechanism is generally located on the right side of the chair, commonly in the form of a lever on the armrest or a pull lever. Stand up and pull the lever to raise the seat. After sitting down, pull the lever again, and the seat will automatically lower to the preset height. For pneumatic models, you can adjust the height by repeatedly pushing the lever up and down (pumping). When adjusting, ensure that the front of the chair is just below the knees and that both feet are flat on the ground to maintain proper sitting posture and blood circulation.

Recline Angle Adjustment The recline angle adjustment methods vary depending on the design:

  1. Lever Adjustment System: There is an adjustment lever near the right or left side under the seat. For some chairs, you need to pull up or push the lever to unlock the recline function first. After releasing the recline lock, adjust your body weight backward and simultaneously adjust the lever to make the backrest reach a comfortable angle. If you need to lock the position, operate the lever again.
  2. Knob Adjustment System: There is a knob near the central part of the lower seat close to the support column. Turning it clockwise increases the recline resistance, and turning it counterclockwise decreases the resistance. You can adjust the tilt according to your body weight and preferences. Some chairs may be equipped with a separate knob, and you need to refer to the product manual for operation.
  3. Pneumatic Adjustment System: The pneumatic lever is usually shared with the height adjustment lever. Adjust the recline angle by pushing it in different directions. When using it, gently pull the lever and adjust the backrest to a comfortable position.
  4. Base Knob Adjustment: Some high-end swivel chairs adjust the recline elasticity and locking function through a knob under the base, supporting multi-level locking to ensure stability at different angles.

Lumbar Support Adjustment The lumbar support (lumbar cushion) usually offers multiple levels of adjustment (such as three levels). You can adjust the support intensity manually or electrically to meet different needs from weak to strong. When adjusting, ensure that the lumbar cushion fits the curve of your lower back to avoidๆ‚ฌ็ฉบ (hanging in the air) or excessive pressure.

Armrest Height Adjustment The armrests support multi-directional adjustment:

  1. Height Adjustment: You can raise or lower the armrests by pressing a button or rotating a device to adapt to different desk heights.
  2. Angle Adjustment: The armrests can rotate 360ยฐ to meet the needs of scenarios such as typing and reading.
  3. Forward and Backward Adjustment: Some armrests support sliding forward and backward to further optimize the position of arm support.

Headrest Adjustment The headrest usually supports height and forward and backward adjustments. The multi-level design can meet the neck support needs of users of different heights. When adjusting, ensure that the headrest fits the curve of your neck to avoid fatigue from long-term use.
