Brand Background and Development History

Goodtone was founded by Zhu Zhenggen with the mission of 'ensuring a healthy chair for every hardworking individual behind them.' Its production base is located in Foshan, featuring two large factories and seven professional production lines, with an annual output of over 220,000 chairs. During its development, the brand released the iMove series in 2016, launched the PROV and WING products in 2017, and made its debut at the ORGATEC furniture fair in Cologne, Germany, in 2018. The year 2021 marked a pivotal moment for the brand's design breakthroughs: the POLY series task chair won the Japan Good Design Award, the German iF Award, and the American IDEA Design Award; the ARICO series received the Red Dot Award, and the AMOLA series won the German Design Award. In the same year, Goodtone merged into Jingyi Group and introduced new products, including the BIRCH full-mesh task chair and the ROWAN executive leather chair. In April 2024, the company name was changed to 'Guangdong Jingyi Furniture Co., Ltd. Goodtone Branch,' and the POLY series was featured in Forbes magazine. In 2025, the ROWAN executive leather chair won the 2025 GDA National Design Award in Germany.
