Generous Office Chair
The generous office chair generally refers to the executive chair in a broad sense. It is a high-end office chair designed in accordance with ergonomic principles, suitable for manager's offices, supervisor's offices, and other settings, offering both comfort and functionality.

I. Material and Structural Features
The fabric options for executive chairs are diverse, with common materials including leather, artificial leather (PU leather), linen fabric, or mesh fabric. Among them, leather fabric has strong breathability and a soft touch, making it suitable for scenarios that pursue texture and durability. Mesh fabric is characterized by high elasticity and excellent breathability, suitable for long-term use. The chair body structure is usually composed of components such as casters, a five-star base, a gas lift, a chassis, a seat, armrests, a backrest, and a headrest. The gas lift supports height adjustment, and the chassis connects the five-star base and the casters to ensure smooth movement. The backrest and headrest often adopt ergonomic curve designs to fit the natural curvature of the spine and relieve fatigue from prolonged sitting.
II. Usage and Adjustment Specifications
Executive chairs are generally equipped with a gas lift height adjustment function. When adjusting, keep the movement steady to avoid damaging the gas lift by pressing it quickly. The correct adjustment method is to adjust the chair to a height where the feet are flat on the ground and the thighs are parallel to the ground, ensuring that the knees are bent at a 90ยฐ angle to reduce leg pressure. In addition, the height of the armrests should be level with the desktop so that the elbows are bent at a 90ยฐ angle when the arms hang naturally, avoiding shoulder and neck pain. After long-term use, regularly check the stability of components such as the gas lift and casters. Avoid overloading (the general weight limit is 100-130 kg) or violent shaking to prevent safety hazards such as gas lift explosions or five-star base fractures.
III. Cleaning and Maintenance Methods
Cleaning should be carried out according to the fabric type:
- Leather executive chairs: Wipe away dust with a clean soft cloth daily. For long-term stains, gently wipe with a neutral detergent (such as dishwashing liquid) diluted with warm water, then wipe off the cleaning solution with a damp cloth that has been wrung out, and finally absorb the moisture with a dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent the leather from cracking.
- Mesh or linen fabric chairs: Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust. For stubborn stains, treat them locally with a neutral detergent. Do not soak or scrub vigorously to prevent fabric deformation.
- Metal components: Such as the five-star base and casters, can be wiped with a dry cloth. Avoid using corrosive cleaners.
Regular maintenance can extend the service life. It is recommended to check the sealing of the gas lift every 3-6 months. If air leakage or poor lifting is found, replace it in a timely manner. When the casters are stuck, disassemble and clean them or add lubricating oil.
