Full-Chair Adjustment Office Chair

Admin October 09, 2026

Full-chair adjustment office chairs require targeted operations based on different functions. Common adjustment methods are as follows:

Recline Adjustment

The recline adjustment function can meet the needs of different scenarios such as work and relaxation.

  • Lever Adjustment System: Commonly found in mid-range and high-end office chairs, the adjustment lever is usually located on the right or left side beneath the seat. If the chair has a locking function, you need to first pull up or push the lever to release the lock, then set the recline angle by adjusting your body's tilt and the lever's position, and finally lock it in place.
  • Knob Adjustment System: Often seen in ergonomic chairs, the knob is generally located near the center of the lower part of the seat, close to the support column. Turning the knob clockwise increases the recline resistance, while turning it counterclockwise decreases the resistance. Some chairs have a separate knob for adjusting the recline angle; refer to the instruction manual for specific operations.
  • Pneumatic Adjustment System: The pneumatic lever shares the same lever as the height adjustment lever. Adjust the recline angle by pushing in different directions, and gently pull the lever to a comfortable position during adjustment.
  • Angle Selection Recommendations: Choose a smaller recline angle (e.g., 10ยฐ-20ยฐ) for focused work; a larger angle (e.g., 30ยฐ-45ยฐ) for relaxation or thinking; and you can recline appropriately for short breaks (e.g., the Henglin L700 series supports four-level 135ยฐ recline and locking).

Height Adjustment

The seat height needs to be adjusted according to the task and physical condition.

  • Operation Methods:
    • Pull up the control lever while sitting to adjust the height; some models require turning a knob. If unsure about the lever's function, read the instruction manual or try each one.
    • Move a few centimeters at a time to a comfortable position, then return the lever to its original position. For pneumatic models, fine-tune the height by repeatedly pushing the lever up and down.
    • Adjusting while standing makes it easier to position: the front of the chair should be below the knees, ensuring both feet are flat on the ground and the elbows are level with the desktop.
  • Scenario Adaptation: Keep your eyes level with the monitor when working on a computer; keep your elbows close to the desktop for desk work; ensure your feet rest naturally on the ground for long periods of sitting.

Other Adjustment Functions

  • Lumbar Support Adjustment: For example, the Henglin L700 series supports 4 cm of up-and-down adjustment, 4 cm of side-to-side independent adjustment, and 3 cm of buffer rebound. The lumbar support can rotate 10ยฐ left and right, accommodating people between 160-185 cm in height. The Sihoo B300's 4D lumbar support can move 10 mm forward and backward for precise back support.
  • Headrest Adjustment: The Henglin L700 headrest supports dual-axis six-way adjustment, with a range of 106ยฐ, and can be raised and lowered by 13.5 cm, adapting to various sitting postures.
  • Armrest Adjustment: The Henglin L700 armrests feature a 5D design, supporting 7360ยฐ rotation, 7 cm of up-and-down adjustment, and 4 cm of forward-and-backward movement.
  • Seat Depth Adjustment: The Henglin L700 supports 4 cm of seat depth adjustment to meet the needs of different body types.
