Frame Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for the frame office chair are as follows:

1. Install the Chair Wheels and Five-Star Base
Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base one by one, applying slight force to ensure stability. Some chair wheels may need to be screwed in by rotating. After installation, check that all chair wheels make even contact with the ground to prevent wobbling after assembly.
2. Install the Gas Lift
Turn the five-star base upside down, remove the protective cap from the top of the gas lift, and align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the five-star base before inserting it vertically. Ensure that the gas lift is perfectly aligned with the hole in the five-star base to avoid tilting, which could cause malfunctions during subsequent use.
3. Install the Seat Base
Place the seat base on the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to distinguish the front and back directions (usually marked or recessed on the seat base to match the seat cushion structure). After aligning the screw holes, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in 3-4 turns (do not fully tighten) before gradually tightening them one by one. This operation prevents the seat base from shifting due to uneven force on one side.
4. Install the Seat Cushion and Gas Lift
Align the center hole at the bottom of the seat cushion with the top of the gas lift and press down vertically until it is fully inserted into the seat base interface. Gently shake the seat cushion to confirm that it is not loose. If there is a gap, readjust the angle of the gas lift or check the hole alignment.
5. Install the Armrests
- Preliminary Fixation: Press the adjustment button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, paying attention to distinguish the left and right directions (usually marked on the inside of the armrests).
- Temporary Tightening: Screw in only 1-2 screws on each side of the armrests (leave a gap of 2-3 turns) to reserve adjustment space for subsequent backrest installation.
6. Install the Backrest
- Bottom Fixation: Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation positions on both sides of the seat cushion, insert them, and use 2 C-screws to preliminarily fix them from the bottom of the armrest brackets (do not tighten).
- Overall Alignment: Lift the backrest to a 90ยฐ angle with the seat cushion, align the top holes of the backrest and armrests, and install the remaining screws (still leave gaps).
- Final Tightening: Use two wrenches in combination with D-screws to lock and fix the back of the backrest to the seat base bracket, ensuring no gaps at the connection points.
7. Install the Headrest
Align the bottom of the headrest with the slot at the top of the backrest and press gently to make it fit the curved surface of the backrest. Thread 2 E-screws through the headrest fixing clips and tighten them alternately in two batches (3-4 turns each time) to prevent the headrest from tilting due to uneven force on one side.
8. Overall Adjustment
- Thoroughly check all screws to ensure none are missing or loose.
- Install armrest decorative caps (if any) to cover the screw holes and enhance aesthetics.
- Adjust the height of the gas lift, the angle of the armrests, and the position of the headrest, and test whether all components move smoothly.
Precautions: Avoid using excessive force during installation. If the holes are misaligned, realign them. It is recommended to use an electric screwdriver (low torque mode) or tighten all screws manually in batches to prevent slipping.
