Foreign-Invented Office Chairs
The office chairs invented abroad mainly include three types: Altwork Station, the Auto-Transforming Chair invented by a foreign company, and Embody. Here are the detailed introductions:

Altwork Station: Invented by a US company, it is an all-in-one office chair that combines an office chair, desk, and monitor into a single unit, consisting of a chair, an extended monitor arm, and an integrated desk. Its unique feature lies in its ability to accommodate various working postures for users, allowing seamless transitions between standing, sitting, and lying positions. The chair is equipped with a hydraulic system inside that enables adjustable settings for each part, allowing users to easily adjust the chair via a control panel on the desk. Additionally, the mouse and keyboard are magnetically attached to the desk surface, while the seat cushion, headrest, and footrest are all exceptionally soft, providing users with a comfortable and convenient office experience.
The Auto-Transforming Chair invented by a foreign company: Designed with ergonomics in mind, it functions as a regular office chair under normal circumstances, equipped with three universal wheels for easy movement on the ground. When one handle is operated, it can slowly recline into a small bed, facilitating short naps for users during lunch breaks. Moreover, it offers convenience for auto repair workers; by pressing a button, the chair immediately lowers, transitioning from a sitting to a lying position, allowing it to slide under a vehicle with the help of the universal wheels. Additionally, its height can be adjusted to meet the demands of different work scenarios.
Embody: Launched by Herman Miller, an American office furniture manufacturer, and designed by William Stumpf and Jeff Weber, it employs dynamic pixel matrix technology and a BackFit adjustment mechanism to distribute body pressure evenly through four breathable support layers, ensuring a comfortable sitting experience for users. The chair is equipped with adjustment control points that support adjustments in seat depth, height, and armrest width/height, with a maximum weight capacity of up to 136 kg. During its development, over 30 medical experts collaborated on laboratory tests, verifying the chair's positive effects on metabolism and sitting posture. The product has also received the 2008 Yahoo Tech Award and the 2009 Ergonomic Chair Silver Award at the Chicago Office Furniture Show. Furthermore, it has partnered with Logitech G to launch a gaming chair version, incorporating game-optimized features such as copper-infused cooling foam layers.
