Yellow Folding Office Chair
IKEA offers a yellow option for its outdoor folding chair named SUNDSÖ Sunsö. Here is a detailed introduction to this chair:
Product Features
The SUNDSÖ Sunsö folding chair comes pre-assembled, allowing users to use it directly without the need for self-assembly. Its core feature is its foldable structure, which makes it compact when folded, facilitating easy storage in small spaces such as balconies or storage rooms, especially suitable for small apartments or scenarios requiring flexible space utilization. The chair's main body is made of powder-coated steel, which forms a uniform coating on the steel surface through electrostatic spraying technology, providing both rust resistance and wear resistance. Additionally, its smooth surface is easy to clean, requiring only a wipe for daily maintenance.
Durability and Safety
This product has been laboratory tested and can last up to 10 years under normal usage conditions (e.g., 4-6 hours of daily use without extreme environments). Its load-bearing capacity has been professionally tested and meets the 110-kilogram standard, satisfying the usage needs of most adults. Structurally, it features a reinforced steel frame design with high-strength bolts securing key connection points, ensuring stability during folding and unfolding processes and preventing loosening or deformation due to frequent operations.
Dimensions and Comfort
When unfolded, the chair measures 46 centimeters in depth, 84 centimeters in height, 34 centimeters in seat depth, 46 centimeters in seat height, and 38 centimeters in seat width. This design balances ergonomics and space efficiency—the 34-centimeter seat depth supports natural relaxation of the thighs, the 46-centimeter seat height matches most dining table heights, and the 38-centimeter seat width accommodates users of different body types. The backrest has a slight backward tilt angle, which, combined with the elasticity of the steel frame, provides basic support for short sitting periods.
Price and Suitable Scenarios
Currently, the official price of this product is ¥179.00, placing it in the entry-level price range among IKEA furniture. Its yellow version features a bright color, suitable for pairing with modern minimalist or Nordic-style home decor. It is especially recommended for outdoor areas such as balconies, patios, and gardens, as well as serving as an indoor spare seat. Note that prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or humid environments may accelerate coating aging, so it is recommended to use a rain cover to extend its lifespan.
