FLINTAN Fu Tong Office Chair

The FLINTAN Fu Tong office chair, launched by IKEA, is an ergonomic design that offers comprehensive functionality and outstanding cost-effectiveness. Its core features can be analyzed from the following dimensions:

Design and Functionality
The chair adopts Swedish design principles, featuring a high backrest structure that provides comprehensive support from the waist to the shoulders. Paired with breathable mesh fabric (100% polyester), it effectively promotes air circulation, preventing discomfort from prolonged sitting. The chair cover is removable and washable (machine washable at ≤40°C or professional dry cleaning) and comes with a 10-year quality guarantee, balancing practicality and durability. The frame is made of steel with an epoxy/polyester powder coating, and the chair frame is veneered with laminated wood, ensuring structural stability.

Adjustable Features

1. Lumbar Support System: The adjustable lumbar support promotes proper sitting posture and distributes pressure on the waist, making it suitable for those who work long hours.
2. Dynamic Adaptation: The automatic tension control technology adjusts the backrest resistance according to the user's weight, while the synchronized tilt function allows the chair to move flexibly with body movements, helping to open the angle between the hips and torso and reducing muscle fatigue.
3. Locking and Height Adjustment: The tilt locking function can fix the chair in an upright position, and the seat height can be adjusted within a range of 45-58 cm to accommodate users of different heights.
4. Armrest Adjustment (only available on models with armrests): The armrest height can be adjusted between 69-81 cm to meet various usage scenarios.

Safety and Convenience
The chair is equipped with lockable casters that stay in place when stationary to prevent sliding; it is recommended to use with the KALLEN floor protector to reduce wear on the floor. User reviews indicate that the smoothness of the wheels may require a short break-in period depending on individual usage habits, but overall mobility is high.

Price and Additional Services
The model without armrests is priced at 399 yuan, while the model with armrests is 499 yuan, widely recognized for its cost-effectiveness. Corporate purchases are eligible for one-on-one services, and individual users can opt for paid assembly services at checkout to lower the installation threshold (user feedback indicates that the assembly process is simple and can be completed independently by women or children).

Dimensions and Colors
The overall dimensions of the chair are 71 cm in width, 71 cm in depth, and a height range of 103-114 cm; the seat width is 46 cm, and the seat depth is 49 cm. It is available in two colors: black and beige (light khaki), suitable for different office environment styles. The packaging includes 2 parts, with a total weight of approximately 14.82 kg, making it easy to transport.
