Fixed Office Chair Height Adjustment
The method for adjusting the height of a fixed office chair depends on the specific design of the chair. Common methods are as follows:

Chairs with a handle under the seat
If the chair has a pullable handle under the seat, maintain a stable sitting posture and lift the handle with one hand to adjust the height. The high-pressure gas inside the air rod will be compressed. When the pressure is released, the seat will naturally rise due to the gas rebound. Release the handle after reaching the target height to secure it. Note that some chairs require continuous force to lift the handle to maintain the rising state. Avoid suddenly releasing the handle during operation to prevent the seat from quickly falling back.Swivel chairs with fixed screws at the bottom
Some swivel chairs have fixed screws at the center or side of the bottom. First, lay the chair down or tilt it to an operable position, and use a wrench or matching tool to loosen the screw counterclockwise. The seat can then be freely adjusted in height. After adjusting to the appropriate position, tighten the screw clockwise until it is fully secured. Before operation, confirm the screw type (such as hexagonal or Phillips screws) to avoid slippage due to mismatched tools.Chairs with dual adjustment levers under the seat
If there are two independent adjustment levers under the seat, usually one controls the up-and-down height, and the other adjusts the left-right angle or front-back position. To adjust the height, sit on the chair and maintain balance, and lift the corresponding height adjustment lever with one hand (some chairs may require pressing or toggling). After the seat rises to the desired height, release the lever, and the seat will automatically lock. Avoid touching both adjustment levers simultaneously during operation to prevent accidental adjustment of other functions.Chairs with dual handles at the bottom
Some chairs have two handles at the bottom. Test-pull to confirm the function: first, gently pull one of the handles to observe whether the seat rises or falls. After identifying the height adjustment handle, maintain a sitting posture and lift the handle. The seat will move with changes in gas pressure. Release the handle after reaching the target height to secure it. If the handle is stuck, check for foreign objects or insufficient lubrication in the air rod.
Precautions:
- Before adjustment, confirm the chair's weight-bearing capacity to avoid damaging the adjustment mechanism due to overloading.
- If the chair's height cannot be adjusted or is difficult to adjust, it may be due to air rod leakage, screw rust, or lever failure. Contact after-sales service for repair.
- Maintain body stability during adjustment to avoid losing balance and falling due to seat movement.
