Fixed Office Chair

Admin October 09, 2026

Fixed office chairs are mainly divided into two categories: auditorium chairs and some home-use fixed office chairs. Their designs, functions, and installation methods vary, so it is necessary to choose the appropriate type according to the usage scenario.

Auditorium chairs are fixed seats specifically designed for public spaces such as auditoriums, cinemas, assembly halls, and lecture halls. Their core components include seat cushions, backrests, armrests, standing feet, and retractable writing boards. In terms of design, they strictly adhere to ergonomic standards: the seat height is generally 400-440mm, the seat depth is 400-450mm, the back height is 1020mm, and the seat center distance is โ‰ฅ580mm, ensuring comfort during long-term use. The material selection focuses on durability and safety. The seat cushions are made of high-density PU foam and equipped with a flippable structure. The backrest shells are cold-pressed and molded from PP material. The metal frames are treated with anti-rust spraying. Some models are also equipped with local lighting, cup holders, or simultaneous interpretation equipment. In terms of functional design, some models use serpentine springs or silent pneumatic return devices to enhance the user experience. Their materials must comply with the QB/T2602-2013 standard for public seats in cinemas and theaters, with a formaldehyde emission of โ‰ค0.12mg/mยณ, a static load capacity of the seat surface of โ‰ฅ2000N, and fire-resistant fabric reaching Class B1, ensuring safety and environmental protection in public spaces. The installation methods mainly involve single-foot landing or armrest standing foot fixation, adapting to the needs of large-scale arrangements.

Some home-use fixed office chairs, on the other hand, are more focused on home or small conference room scenarios, such as thickened bow-shaped mesh office chairs and simple conference room staff chairs. These chairs usually adopt a fixed back design, with materials mainly being breathable mesh or high-density foam, balancing comfort and cost. Structurally, they mostly feature bow-shaped or four-legged supports, providing strong stability and requiring no complex installation. Some models support customization, allowing adjustments to size or color according to user needs. Their design emphasizes lightweight and flexibility, suitable for home or small office environments with limited space, but they generally do not have the public safety standards or additional functions of auditorium chairs.

Selection advice: If it is to be used in public spaces such as auditoriums or theaters, priority should be given to auditorium chairs that comply with the QB/T2602-2013 standard to ensure safety and functionality; if it is for home or small conference room use, the breathability and flexibility of home-use fixed office chairs are more suitable for daily needs.
