Feng Shui Office Chair Cushion

The choice of Feng Shui office chair cushions should be based on the orientation of the office and the environment behind the chair, with different considerations for different situations.

Offices facing west to east: In offices with this orientation, it is advisable to choose cushions in blue, black, green, or cyan for the office chairs. From the perspective of Feng Shui energy, these colors can enhance the auspicious energy of this orientation. Blue and black belong to the water element in the Five Elements theory, while green and cyan belong to the wood element. The mutual generation of water and wood helps create a positive and upward working atmosphere, improving work efficiency and career prospects.

Offices facing southeast to northwest: For office chairs in these offices, it is recommended to choose cushions in white or beige. White and beige have a purifying effect in Feng Shui, capable of neutralizing the negative influences of malevolent stars behind. Using cushions in these two colors in offices with this orientation can reduce interference from unfavorable factors, creating a more harmonious and stable working environment conducive to smooth work progress.

Offices facing south to north: It is advisable to choose cushions in blue or black for office chairs in these offices. Blue and black belong to the water element, while in the Five Elements theory, the south of an office facing south to north belongs to the fire element. The harmony between water and fire achieves a balanced state. This balance helps stabilize the emotions of workers, enhance decision-making abilities, and prevent work quality from being affected by emotional fluctuations.

Offices facing north to south: Although no specific cushion color requirements are mentioned for this orientation, it is generally advisable to choose cushions in warm colors such as red or yellow for the overall layout. Red and yellow represent enthusiasm, vitality, and wealth in Feng Shui. Using cushions in warm colors can create a positive and warm working atmosphere, stimulating the work enthusiasm and creativity of workers, while also helping to improve financial luck.

Situations where the back is a glass curtain wall or aisles: If the back of an office seat faces a glass curtain wall or aisles, it can easily make people feel unsettled. In this case, cushions with yellow or mountain-and-water patterns can be used. Yellow represents the earth element, which has stable and heavy characteristics, capable of enhancing the support behind the seat. The mountain-and-water pattern symbolizes a reliable backer, implying strong support. Such cushions can improve the stability of the seat, making workers feel at ease and thus more focused on their work.
