The installation steps for a fashionable office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Prepare components and install wheels
First, ensure that all components are complete, including a five-star base, wheels, a gas lift, a seat plate, a seat cushion, a backrest, armrests, etc. Insert the wheels vertically into the assembly holes of the five-star base. You can insert them one by one and then flip the base to ensure the wheels are firmly connected. If the base is designed with pre-installed holes, confirm the correct insertion direction of the wheels to prevent loosening during later use.

Step 2: Install the gas lift
Place the thicker end of the gas lift vertically against the central hole of the five-star base, ensuring it is fully inserted and there is no wobbling. For some models, you need to insert the gas lift of the five-star foot into the tray hole. Pay attention to matching the thick and thin ends of the gas lift with the holes to avoid reverse installation, which could cause the height adjustment function to fail.

Step 3: Assemble the seat plate and cushion
Place the seat plate at the bottom of the seat cushion. Confirm the orientation according to the markings on the seat plate (such as the front-back direction or the distribution of screw holes). After aligning the screw holes of the seat cushion and the seat plate, use a screwdriver to screw each screw in by 3-4 turns to ensure all screws are initially fixed. Then, tighten them one by one until they cannot be turned. This step can prevent the seat plate from shifting due to unilateral force.

Step 4: Install the backrest
Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation positions on both sides of the seat cushion. Slowly insert it until the bottom fully contacts the seat support. First, use 2 screws to pass through from the bottom of the armrest brackets to fix the connection between the bottom of the backrest and the armrests. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the holes on the seat support. Use two wrenches to fix the screws (one hand holds the nut, and the other hand turns the screw) to ensure the backrest is tightly locked to the seat support without gaps. For some models, you need to first install the backrest rod. Insert the rod with the groove facing up into the tray hole and tighten the nut.

Step 5: Install the armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface (some models have no button design). Align the left and right armrests with the holes on the armrest brackets and insert them to ensure the armrests are horizontally aligned with the seat cushion. If they are screw-fixed types, use long screws to pass through the holes on the armrest brackets from the bottom of the armrests and tighten them. Pay attention to installing the left and right armrests symmetrically.

Step 6: Install other components

• Footrest assembly: Fix the footrest rod and the footrest pad with screws. Insert them into the footrest frame and then use 2 small screws to block the small holes at the end of the footrest rod to prevent the footrest from falling off due to excessive force.
• Headrest: Place the headrest vertically in the middle at the top of the backrest. Press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit the curve of the backrest. Pass a screw through the headrest fixing clip and tighten it to ensure the headrest does not wobble.
• Massage function: For the 9-point massage model, insert the power massage cable into the corresponding interface of the chair and test whether the massage function starts normally.

Precautions: Avoid excessive force during installation to prevent component deformation. All screws should be tightened until they cannot be turned to ensure structural stability. If the holes are misaligned or the components are stuck, check whether any parts are missing or installed in the wrong direction. Do not force assembly.
