Fabric Breathable Office Chair
Among fabric breathable office chairs, the Aeron office chair and the Deli mesh bow chair are typical representatives. Their breathability is achieved through special materials and designs, making them suitable for long hours of office work.

The Aeron office chair was introduced by Herman Miller in 1994, with its core breathable design based on 8z Pellicle elastic fabric. This material covers the seat cushion and backrest with a suspended mesh structure, forming eight independent support zones (the "8z" concept). It not only disperses body pressure but also allows air circulation through the mesh's hollow characteristics. This design enables rapid expulsion of heat and moisture through the mesh holes when the body is in contact with the chair surface, preventing a stuffy feeling, especially suitable for summer or prolonged sitting scenarios. Additionally, Pellicle fabric offers high elasticity and durability, adapting support strength according to body movements and balancing breathability with comfort.
The Deli mesh bow chair, on the other hand, uses ordinary mesh material as its main covering layer. Its breathability principle is similar to that of the Aeron, but with a simpler structure. The mesh has larger fiber gaps, allowing air to freely penetrate and effectively reducing heat buildup on the buttocks and back from prolonged contact with the chair surface. This chair model features a bow-shaped structure without wheels, suitable for fixed workstations. Its mesh material significantly reduces the risk of sweating in summer, keeping the body surface dry. However, compared to the Aeron's zoned support design, the Deli mesh chair offers weaker uniform support, focusing more on basic breathability.
The breathability differences between the two types of chairs mainly stem from their materials and structures: The Aeron's Pellicle fabric forms a three-dimensional support mesh through precision weaving technology, balancing breathability with ergonomics; the Deli mesh chair meets basic breathability needs with economical mesh, offering lower cost but relatively simpler functionality. When choosing, consider your budget and usage scenario: for long-term comfort and functionality, the Aeron is a premium option; for basic breathability on a limited budget, the Deli mesh chair can meet daily needs.
