Export Office Chairs

Admin October 10, 2026

Export office chairs come in a variety of types and features, and must meet specific testing standards for export.

I. Brands and Types
There are numerous brands of export office chairs on the market, such as Henglin, Saiweitaishang, Bijiang Furniture, and Outesen. The styles cover Chinese, European, modern minimalist, etc., meeting different aesthetic needs. Based on functionality, they can be divided into basic and high-end models: basic models are primarily practical and have lower prices; high-end models integrate ergonomic designs such as adaptive lumbar support, multi-angle recline, and hidden footrests. For example, the Henglin Nixizhe II high-end version supports 140-degree infinite recline, suitable for long-term office scenarios.

II. Core Features

  1. Structure and Load-Bearing: Taking the Henglin Nixizhe II as an example, it uses a 2.5mm thickened explosion-proof steel plate chassis and an integrated five-star base, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 1000 kilograms, ensuring stability; the seat cushion is 53 centimeters wide and paired with a 7-centimeter thick high-density sponge, dispersing pressure and enhancing comfort.
  2. Adjustable Functions: The headrest supports 155-degree large-angle rotation, 55-degree fine adjustment, and 13.5-centimeter height adjustment, suitable for different heights; the armrests are six-dimensional 3D adjustable, allowing flexible adjustment forward, backward, left, right, up, and down; the backrest supports 4-centimeter height adjustment, and the lumbar support uses an adaptive floating structure to dynamically fit the lumbar curve, suitable for people between 155 and 185 centimeters tall.
  3. Safety Configurations: The gas lift has passed the German TUV certification Level 4 standard, and the casters are made of PU silent material, reducing movement noise and floor wear.

III. Price Range
The prices of export office chairs vary significantly, influenced by brand, material, and functionality. Basic models can be as low as 105 yuan, suitable for users with limited budgets; mid-to-high-end models like the Henglin Nixizhe II cost around 500 yuan, integrating multiple ergonomic designs; high-end models can reach 1980 yuan, using imported materials and intelligent adjustment technologies.

IV. Export Testing Standards
Exporting to the EU requires passing the EN1335 test, which is the core basis for CE certification:

  • EN1335 - 1: Defines size codes and static strength benchmarks, such as parameters for backrest height and seat depth that must comply with the standard.
  • EN1335 - 2: Specifies safety requirements, including over a dozen testing methods such as stability tests, impact tests, and structural strength tests, ensuring the chair has no safety hazards under normal use and extreme conditions.
  • EN1335 - 3: Focuses on ergonomic evaluation, combining subjective feedback (such as comfort scores) with objective indicators (such as pressure distribution data) to optimize design and reduce fatigue from prolonged sitting.
