Electric Office Chair Battery
The battery types and usage of electric office chairs vary depending on product positioning and functional design, mainly divided into three types: built-in lithium-ion batteries, detachable lithium batteries, and USB power supply.

1. Built-in Lithium-ion Battery Type This type of battery is mostly used in high-end portable electric office chairs. It adopts lithium-ion technology (similar to mobile phone batteries), featuring high energy density and small size. Typical application scenarios include gaming chairs with multiple massage functions or executive chairs equipped with wireless charging trays. Its battery life can reach 30-50 hours, and it is recommended to charge it every 2-3 months. Users can confirm the specific specifications through the 'battery life parameters' or 'battery capacity' labels in the product manual. When left idle for a long time, a charge-discharge cycle should be performed every quarter to maintain battery activity and avoid capacity degradation due to self-discharge.
2. Detachable Lithium Battery Type Some high-end electric executive chairs adopt a modular design and are equipped with detachable lithium batteries. When fully charged, this type of battery can support 8-12 hours of mobile office work, suitable for scenarios that require frequent adjustment of sitting posture or short-distance movement. Its advantage lies in the independent replacement or charging of the battery, allowing users to replenish energy without moving the entire chair. However, it should be noted that frequent disassembly and assembly may affect the stability of battery contact, and it is recommended to regularly check the cleanliness of the interface.
3. USB Power Supply Type For lightweight needs, some foldable gaming chairs adopt a USB power supply solution, driving basic adjustment functions (such as lifting and tilting) through a 5V mobile power source. This design does not require a built-in battery, but its functions are limited, usually only supporting single-axis adjustment. Users need to prepare a mobile power source that meets the power requirements by themselves and pay attention to interface compatibility (such as Type-C or Micro-USB).
Usage Recommendations:
- When purchasing, prioritize clarifying the usage scenario: if long-term offline use is required, choose a model with a built-in large-capacity lithium-ion battery; if flexibility is pursued, a detachable lithium battery is more convenient; if only basic adjustment is needed and reliance on an external power source is acceptable, a USB power supply model has lower costs.
- In terms of maintenance, lithium-ion batteries should avoid overcharging (it is recommended to use the original charger) and over-discharging (charge promptly when the battery level is below 20%), and the ambient temperature should be kept within 0-40โ to extend their lifespan.
- Before long-term storage, it is recommended to maintain the battery level at around 50% and place it in a dry and cool place to slow down the chemical aging rate.
