Efficient Office Chair Installation
The installation of an efficient office chair can be carried out following these steps:

Step 1: Install the casters and chair base Insert each caster into the assembly holes of the five-pronged chair base one by one, ensuring that each caster is fully embedded. After flipping the chair base, vertically align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the five-pronged base and insert it to ensure a firm connection between the gas lift and the chair base. Alternatively, you can first install the casters onto the chair base and then place the gas lift into the center of the chair base. In either case, make sure the gas lift is perpendicular to the ground.
Step 2: Secure the seat pan and the chair base Place the seat pan base on the bottom of the seat pan, ensuring that the orientation of the seat pan base matches the design of the seat pan. Align the four screw holes on the seat pan base with those on the seat pan. Then, use a screwdriver to screw in each of the four screws 3-4 turns at a time (to avoid misalignment caused by tightening them all at once), and then tighten all the screws sequentially to ensure a firm connection between the seat pan base and the seat pan. For some models, the seat pan base may be directly fixed to the seat pan with screws, and it is important to keep them horizontally aligned during operation.
Step 3: Connect the seat pan and the gas lift Align the bottom of the seat pan with the installed seat pan base with the top of the gas lift, and vertically insert it downwards until the hole in the seat pan base fully encloses the gas lift. For some designs, the seat pan base needs to be directly placed over the gas lift. When inserting, maintain stability to prevent the gas lift from tilting, which could lead to instability during subsequent use.
Step 4: Install the chair back Align the two sides at the bottom of the chair back with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the seat pan, and slowly insert them until the bottom fully contacts the seat pan support. First, use two C-shaped screws to secure the bottom of the chair back from the bottom of the armrest support. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the chair back with those on the seat cushion support, and use two wrenches to lock the D-shaped screws in place (one hand holds the screw steady while the other tightens the nut) to ensure a loose-free connection between the chair back and the seat pan.
Step 5: Install the armrests Press the elastic button below the armrest surface, and vertically insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest supports respectively. A clicking sound indicates that they are properly installed. Some armrests need to be fixed with screws, in which case use a screwdriver to tighten the connecting screws between the armrests and the supports.
Step 6: Install the headrest Align the bottom of the headrest with the middle position at the top of the backrest, and press firmly on the installation area of the headrest to make it fit snugly against the backrest. Thread two screws through the holes in the headrest fixing clip and screw them into the pre-drilled screw holes in the backrest. First, screw each screw in 3-4 turns to adjust the position, and then fully tighten them to ensure that the headrest is stable and does not wobble.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check that all components are complete to avoid repeated disassembly due to missing parts during the process.
- When tightening the screws, do it in stages to prevent deformation of the components caused by over-tightening on one side.
- After installing the gas lift, test whether the lifting function works properly to ensure there is no jamming or air leakage.
