Easy-to-Disassemble Office Chair

Admin October 19, 2026

The disassembly methods for easy-to-disassemble office chairs vary depending on the brand and model. Here are the common types and specific steps:

1. Pugresi Tatami (PH-81B Disassembly Model)

This model is characterized by its five-segment adjustable backrest and flexible disassembly and assembly. The backrest is fixed with buckles or segmented structures, allowing for tool-free disassembly and assembly. Users can directly adjust the backrest to the lowest position and separate the components by pressing or rotating the buckles, making it suitable for scenarios requiring frequent adjustments or storage.

2. Beike Office Chair BC03Q Deluxe Edition

Multiple components need to be disassembled in sequence, with the following steps:

  1. Headrest Disassembly: Pull the headrest to its highest position, press down on the middle thin metal strip, and pull it out once the buckle is loose. If the buckle is too tight, use a discarded hard card to assist in prying it open.
  2. Armrest Disassembly: Invert the chair on a higher platform (such as a tabletop), use the provided hex wrench to loosen the screws beneath the armrests, and separate the armrests from the chair body.
  3. Backrest and Base Separation: Use the hex wrench to remove the screws securing the backrest, and keep the screws for subsequent reassembly.
  4. Five-Star Base and Gas Spring Separation: Use a rubber mallet (or a regular hammer wrapped in soft cloth) to strike the five feet of the five-star base upwards, separating them from the gas spring; then strike the base plate to separate the gas spring from the base.
  5. Wheel Disassembly: Directly pull out the wheels; if they are stuck, shake them left and right to assist in removal.
Storage Suggestions: Place the base face down in the original packaging box, cover it with foam, and then place the armrests, backrest, headrest, and casters in sequence, along with small components such as adapters and screw packs.

3. Pneumatic Office Chair

Focus on handling the connection of the pneumatic rod. Wear safety goggles and gloves during operation, with the following steps:

  1. Remove the Casters: Invert the chair on a soft pad, hold the root of the casters, and shake them left and right to pull them out; if they are stuck, use a rubber mallet to lightly strike the outside of the base to assist in removal.
  2. Separate the Pneumatic Rod from the Metal Base: Use a pipe wrench to clamp the metal ring at the bottom of the pneumatic rod and rotate it counterclockwise until it is loose.
  3. Disassemble the Seat and Pneumatic Rod Interface:
    • If fixed with cross screws, use the corresponding screwdriver to disassemble;
    • If it is a buckle structure, insert a flat-head screwdriver into the gap to pry it open, and support the seat surface while slowly pressing it down during separation.
      Safety Tips:
  • The built-in nitrogen pressure in the pneumatic rod reaches 150-250psi. Do not face the ends of the pneumatic rod directly.
  • If oil leakage or abnormal deformation of the rod is found, stop disassembly immediately.
  • The engineering plastic buckles at the bottom of the seat are prone to breakage. Before disassembly, use a hairdryer to heat the connection for 1 minute to soften the plastic.
  • When the metal threaded interface slips, wrap Teflon tape around it to increase friction.
  • Forcing the disassembly of patented buckle structures may void the warranty. It is recommended to consult the instruction manual first.
  • After disassembly, seal the pneumatic rod in a plastic bag to prevent dust from entering the piston and affecting the rebound performance.
