Easy Office Chair Assembly
You can refer to the following general steps for assembling an easy-to-assemble office chair:

I. Unpack and Inspect Upon receiving the package, first unpack all the parts and check them one by one against the parts list to confirm whether there are any missing or damaged items. The basic components of an easy-to-assemble office chair usually include a seat, a backrest, chair legs (some with casters), screws, buckles, and other small parts. Some models may also come with additional accessories such as armrests, cup holders, or storage bags. If any parts are found to be missing, contact the merchant promptly for a replacement to avoid affecting subsequent assembly.
II. Assemble the Chair Legs and Gas Lift (if applicable)
- If the chair legs are designed separately (such as a five-star base with casters), first install each caster into the slots or threaded holes of the chair legs to ensure that each caster is firmly fixed.
- Insert the gas lift (height adjustment mechanism) vertically into the central hole of the chair legs, ensuring that it is fully embedded and does not wobble. The gas lift is a core component that supports the seat and adjusts the height, so check its surface for any damage or air leaks.
III. Secure the Seat and Base Plate
- Turn the seat upside down so that the bottom is facing up. Use the provided screws and Allen wrench to fix the base plate (the metal or plastic part that connects to the gas lift) to the bottom of the seat. Be sure to tighten the screws alternately in multiple passes to prevent the base plate from tilting.
- If the seat is directly connected to the chair legs (without a gas lift), align the chair legs with the buckles or screw holes on the bottom of the seat and complete the connection by rotating or screwing, ensuring that the chair legs are perpendicular and stable to the seat.
IV. Install the Backrest and Armrests
- Align the backrest with the screw holes on the back of the seat, slowly tighten the screws, and adjust the angle of the backrest to a comfortable position, ensuring that the backrest and the seat are smoothly connected without gaps.
- If the chair is equipped with armrests, align the armrests with the holes on both sides of the seat, fix them with screws, and adjust them to the appropriate height. Some armrests support forward or backward and left or right adjustments, so operate according to the instructions.
V. Install Additional Accessories and Conduct a Final Inspection
- Install additional accessories such as cup holders and storage bags according to the instructions, ensuring that they are in reasonable positions and firmly fixed.
- After completing the assembly, sit on the chair and check its stability:
- Rotate the chair to observe whether it moves smoothly without any jamming or abnormal noises;
- Adjust the backrest and gas lift (if applicable) to confirm that they function properly;
- Check whether all screws are tightened. If any are loose, tighten them again.
Precautions: Keep the parts clean during the assembly process to prevent foreign objects from entering the screw holes or gas lift. If the holes do not align or parts are damaged, pause the assembly and contact after-sales service.
